I look for Us Bank Home Mortgage to fall. I'm a remote Mortgage worker just sitting here waiting on the chopping block..... see below what Citi is doing but we follow behind. Citigroup's Major Cuts (Industry Context): Citigroup announced plans to... — read more
Quarterly results
Can someone who is smarter than me help me understand how good or bad the quarterly results, and because of timing, the annual results for 2025? It seems like we had a really good year but I can be reading this wrong. But I'm getting upset that it... — read more
They don’t care about us
The lack of any mention of relaxing RTO minimums while also sending out daily safety alerts (sometimes more than 1 a day) to those of us working in downtown Minneapolis is appalling.
Layoffs?
Getting multiple reports of layoffs Tuesday morning and still ongoing at time of posting
Ageism Disguised as Layoffs- worst examples?
The average age of employees grades 14-17 seems to have dropped by over 10 years since 2022 at least in Sekou’s org. Clearly driven by layoffs. We’ve seen what looks like blatant examples of age discrimination. Pushing an over 50 to a unique role... — read more
What happens to people that don't go 11 days in office?
Fired? No consequence if they go for some days?
Already burnt out at the start of my career
I actually like the work I do, but the conditions are wearing me down fast. We're constantly short-staffed, people leave every month, people get laid off all the time, and the pay just doesn't make up for the stress. It's making me seriously question... — read more
No merit increase?
So if you’re above 110% of midpoint of salary no merit increase?
The fate of the middle?
I know there are people on this site who probably have some insights into what’s happening with remote employees. Specifically in that middle job grade class (14-17). If you can share any insights into the remote/layoff strategy in 2026 please do... — read more
CEOs getting more ruthless
I mentioned in another topic how CEOs and the big stakeholders (the owners) are getting more and more ruthless. Nothing will ever make them happy. Let's look at Citigroup's CEO and her recent internal memo. ... — read more
In Office
I overheard someone talking about how rto is going to change and it’ll be 2 days per week in office and up to the department(s) on which days you need to come in? Anyone know anything or know if this is something that’s going to be released?
Can someone provide details on RMC bonus pool or Operational risk more specifically?
Title says it all. Thanks in advance.
How many days a month are you going in office?
Typo fixed.
How many does are you actually going in office?

The downstream effect?
Curious if anyone else is seeing or feeling the downstream effect of what’s happening at the top of the house. I don’t mean the obvious things, I mean the intangible effects of the changes and stress. Is anyone else’s team acting differently? People... — read more
What is bonus and merit funding looking like?
It opened today for managers, correct? How are things looking in RMC?
Lions for Lambs
I was watching this movie and it hit me on how well that phrase represents the bank today. I am generalizing here but for the most part it seems that our lions (level X) are being led by a bunch of lambs (level X-1) all the way up top to the CEO... — read more
Internal hire

Amazon's New Manager Dashboard Flags 'Low-Time Badgers' and 'Zero Badgers'
This question was asked a few times in this forum. Yes, companies have started tracking "how long" instead of just "if" people badged in. The sensors were there, but aggregation was not so common .. till now. -... — read more
What’s the update this week?
I’m confused on what’s happening. Are all leaders in the company expected to be hybrid roles now? For grades 16+, are those remote roles being eliminated? Or were these layoffs this week just certain org decisions? Can someone clarify the moves... — read more
How do bonus payouts work for layoffs in January
If you get laid off March through Dec, AFTER they paid you the bonus for the year before, HR will pay you a prorated amount of the bonus for the CURRENT year. But people laid off in January or Februray, if your last working day is **before the... — read more
Pay range for levels have decreased according to current open positions

Anyone Heard About This?
Heard rumors that a few Grade 16 or higher roles without direct reports will be impacted due to re org and low level roles will be created to fill same positions for cost saving Can anyone confirm if this is true?
AIP if I took leave?
Does anyone know if I was on an approved leave during the year and got a meets expectations, if I’ll get full bonus or do they pro-rate?
We're losing some of our best and most experienced folks
You know, the people who actually know how things work. Meanwhile, the leadership ranks just keep getting bigger. I wonder how long this can continue before something breaks.
No one is safe
Laid off this week. Was remote. Role being moved to one of 2 hubs. Trust no one. I was GL 17+. I shouldn't be surprised as I have seen this happening in pockets even though I was told not to worry.
Plaza lurker
