Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Willing to learn and holding oneself accountable

Good managers will do their best to learn the job so they can be an asset to the team. Good managers will not push their direct reports off on someone else because they do not have the answer and do not care to learn along with the team.

They are missing a team in CBB Risk...6 useless managers and 1 cant keep any reports under here. In 2 years, she lost 4 or 5 direct reports and had to move to support a different BL because of complaints. She is a walking RED FLAG! Also, have managers supporting compliance
without any compliance background or knowledge. She is more of an admin and team cheerleader. Waste of the bank's money and resources!

@a5 They already did this in my department few years ago. Are you saying they are starting this again?

@a5 “ They’re flatting the org in my department by making sure each mid-level manager has at least 6-8 direct reports” - they likely will be doing this everywhere but USB moves very slow in doing so, group by group.

They’re flatting the org in my department by making sure each mid-level manager has at least 6-8 direct reports and most will be at the main hubs such as Minneapolis (majority), Atlanta, North Carolina, and Chicago. Mainly Midwest and East Coast areas.
