Has everyone loaded up their self reviews for the EOY conversations?

Time for the blindside feedback that you never heard all year long to dangle that promo over you

@jw

If you’re collecting RSUs, life is great. If you’re in sales grinding quotes and getting squeezed, not so much.

@eq you can call it whatever you want. I just hope the stock continues its downtrend until my RSUs are issued.

Life is good at Dell!

If you're on TD team, only 2 that get a raise and TD a rise are L and J.

we never had any conversation with our manager about goals. We just did reviews and got our raises, sometimes none. He wondered why he got bad Tell Dell scores and was ultimately let go.

As a former manager (not in Sales) I can assure you that your manager does not enjoy these conversations any more than you do.

I had mine yesterday. 10% raise and said I can anticipate $100k in RSUs once again this year! All this for working remotely for around 2-3 hours per day

I hardcore quiet quit in 2024 and got a 7.5% raise. Biggest raise I ever saw before that was 2%. Hopefully using the same strategy in 2025 pays off. Wish me luck.

This year I've reduced my managers workload significantly. Ran more deals that ever before, won many Inspire awards and received consistent stakeholder feedback about how I always help & say yes. My EOY discussion will be a 5min convo about great work, digging in, fantastic work & outcomes etc. & I will get the usual 2.5%. Which reflects the amount of actual effort I put in.

We ran out of budget, or you failed to hit your sales quota so we cannot give you a raise this year.

They will disregard the negative things that the company is doing. Then, ask about your goals. My goals? I just shake my head.

The conversation will go like this?

"How come you haven't quit yet? We'll have to make life harder for you."

It will be a one sided conversation.
