Gunjan Salary

Want to hear a joke? Gunjan made 16 million in total pay last year. My best friend JR made 10 million. Meanwhile the people whose hard work this company made record-breaking profits on are told that the money isn't there for bonuses or raises. Employee appreciation week? Here's a bag of doritos, have fun. Tech isn't working correctly? Can't afford to fix it.

Bunch of undeserving piles of worthless trash those two are. Eat cr-p.

E&I layoff, how large?

Does anyone know how large the E&I layoff was? We have lost 3 people in our department, not sure about others or if this is only one of many waves. Morel is low with many who weren’t laid off receiving 0 raise and 0 bonus, a slap on the face and an insult, yet the brown mgmt seem to be getting promotions and bumps again!

No more bonus???

Did I read the email correctly from this morning. Bands 1-3 no longer are eligible for a bonus??? So on top of job eliminations bonus is getting taken away and it still does not guarantee our jobs are safe? WOW! Way to communicate this before the weekend starts.

Dude... No merit or anything?

After an "exceptional" review, I am hearing no merit or bonus increase? Just a lousy retention RSU of not even 1/2 of a paycheck that vests in who cares amount of time because the stock is going down every single day... I'm so confused, you hand out a retention bonus, in a dogsh*t effort to keep people around, and then say "oh by the way G11+ get nothing this year" lol...

I cannot state this enough, regardless of the size of this company, it's so pathetic how inept our HR or any decision making staff is at communicating. This is entirely a company taking advantage of a flailing job market and uncertain economic factors. Frank being gone lifted a weight off of everyone's shoulders, all for the same procedures of being intentionally cryptic with all verbiage to stick around. I cannot comprehend how listening to employees complaints and being more communicative with your underlings does anything besides boost morale even if a little.

I really do wish one of these soulless HR reps or even Mike would come on here for a second and just read. Even through the side remarks and posts, there are a majority of employees who are concerned about the state of the company and just want to be spoken to like adults. We are humans, we do not want to venture out into the unknown and find new jobs. This cannot continue, or else the constant brain drain that we've experienced for at least half a decade will continue. You cannot ask people to stick around and suffer then simultaneously tell them they will not be receiving more money. The state of the companies affairs due to poor leadership leading to us being left out to dry will only exasperate the issues.

The effort to can these VPs and chairs of divisions has been a solid step in the right direction for relieving some of the draconian measures left behind by Frank, but transparency is what we need now. Pay us, or at the very least, tell us why you can't pay us and explain what your future plans are to make up for this fiasco. Nobody cares for the same people to come on the Town Hall from HR and speak to us with their painful vocal fry, telling us to fill out a curated Q&A form to pad their stats like it's the 4th quarter of a blowout.

I’m confused - bonus

I’m so confused. None of my bosses / leaders have said anything about no bonuses. I haven’t received any emails about no bonuses. But on here there’s so many posts of people speaking with such authority about no more bonuses.

Is this still just a rumor? Or has something been shared?

4 days confirmed

Wendy Stewart (yuck) confirmed it today on a presentation call. Starting in March, it’s 5 days with 5 floaters a month. So, in typical arrogant banker talk, it’s more confusing than needs to be. It’s 4 days for 3 of the weeks in a month, and 3 days for one of the weeks, via the 5 floater days.

This place truly does su-k. No raises. No bonuses. Just cr-p.

Literally 0 benefit going beyond bare minimum

Guys don’t work after 4-5, don’t go in early, don’t give up nights with your family, don’t respond to emails outside of work hours, don’t be proactive. Can’t tell you how much I have given up for this company over the last few years and what is there to show for it? No hope for promotion, 1% raises, took away my bonus, reduced 401k all for leaders to tell me I should be grateful I have a job. Sorta falls on deaf ears when your compensation is going up and ours is going down. All that to say, do the bare minimum guys, this company will not reward you for your efforts. On the contrary you’ll probably get laid off.

Quarterly results

Can someone who is smarter than me help me understand how good or bad the quarterly results, and because of timing, the annual results for 2025?

It seems like we had a really good year but I can be reading this wrong. But I'm getting upset that it looks like we had a good year but I know the compensation numbers are horrible this round. And if that's the case, they do not in fact pay for performance.

Bye Bye Bonus

Fresh off the presses: No scorecard this year, company-wide.

The board is about to approve the decision. That means no more numbers, which means they've effectively laid the groundwork for no more guaranteed bonus for all employees YOY.

This is effectively moving towards a distributed model, where you will be judged individually

  1. How much of your bonus will you get (already been happening last few years) and
  2. Now even if you will GET a bonus.

2026 off to a great start!

CPS / Bonuses

Any idea what the end of year company performance score will look like? Most people are saying expect cr-ppy bonuses but a few have said that the money saved from the cuts will be used to retain those left behind?

So who else isn't getting a bonus this year?

Got a "first and final" warning about Connect Week attendance today, specifically time spent in office rather than badging in and out. And no bonus for me this year as a result. Pretty floored although I guess it's better than being fired with no warning? Am I the only one?

No ME Day for Me - Exhausted and Burnt Out

I've now scheduled my ME day three times, and each time something comes up. Today was the third attempt, and I've been told I need to provide information to my manager by noon. Every time I try to take this day, I'm told there's something due or overdue, and because we’re so short-staffed, I need to step up. I’m just exhausted.

On top of this, my boss has already said I need to start coming into the office three days a week before November 1st. They’ve also questioned why I haven't done any charity work this year, saying it could affect my performance review and that I should try to schedule something. I’m working seven days a week, and yet it still doesn’t feel like enough. It’s becoming increasingly difficult to keep up.

HP has really turned into one of the worst places to work. It feels like nothing more than a sweatshop. I am told, no salary increases and no bonuses this year and that I should be happy to have a job considering the job market. I am just tired and ranting and I am sure no one cares especially here.

No March bonuses

All of these unrealistic budget projections and talk of losing money is so they will not have to pay out on our bonuses. the 1st step in figuring the amount of money toward bonuses is company profit. It they company loses money, there is no profit, therefore no bonus money.
You should never count your chickens before they hatch but especially dont spend your planned bonus money because it is all but a given there will be none to very little come March 26.

90 day notice for Dec 2 2025 layoff

At least 100 employees received notice on September 2nd giving them 90 days until their December 2nd termination.

My manager called me into a 9:00 a.m. meeting and said "I and requires you read to you the following statement...". The notice was legalistic and had no positive message (like perhaps You haven't done anything actionable). He had no other details for me and no specifics about severance. He said I would receive an official document within 24 hours and I received that in the evening.

Opportunity is given to apply for jobs internally, but I have much better opportunities outside and BSC just isn't a great place to work. The usual job search consulting and training is available through the so-called "talent bridge".

Severance information was listed in the document that I received and all full-time non-manager employees will receive two weeks severance plus one additional week for every complete year of service. It appears we don't get any portion of our performance bonuses like TIP because the grant date is after termination.

So a meager severance package and a dreary 90 day notice while they try to get some transition how do I say and hope that we go away at zero cost. If we leave prior to termination date we get no severance and we lose TIP bonus regardless. Leaving people at risk for being jobless and short of funds right before Christmas.

That's a cold corporate kiss-off. They definitely care more about savings than treating people fairly.

Prior to this jobs downturn for having I would have had my pickup jobs. I still am not too concerned but can't be sure. We were told in a training bridge overview session that They recommend spending 30% of our job time on training and job search. I think they'll be lucky and will say thank you if I give half. The internal corporate optics are not good when they push on people already striped of their financial stability and professional dignity.

The movie Office Space tells us everything we need to know about how to use the little power we have to not become victims of corporate greed and cruelty. Practice Quiet-Quitting and "Not Missing Work".

So how bad is it really to work in Enterprise Operations at HP?

Bad enough that every day feels like a punishment for a choice I barely remember making.
And if I dare complain, Ernest’s voice echoes in my head: “You self-selected for this role.”

The expectations?
They are not expectations. They are shackles.

Seven days a week. Twenty-four hours a day. No pause. No mercy. No life. And still “You self-selected for this role.”
Four jobs crammed into one because people burn out and leave, and replacements never come. Their absence becomes my burden. And still “You self-selected for this role.”
Forced into company charity work, even though my own family barely remembers what I look like. And still “You self-selected for this role.”
Begging for scraps of budget, even with a team of a hundred souls. Every dollar has to pass through Ernest, because we are all assumed to be thieves stealing from his bonus. Because God knows, we will never see one. But of course “You self-selected for this role.”

I missed my son’s entire summer of sports. Every game. Every smile. Every memory.
Gone. Because I was chained here.
I leave home at five in the morning, return after seven at night, and collapse into bed only to wake up still exhausted.
I have fallen asleep in the bathroom at work. I have fallen asleep driving to work.
I confessed this once to my colleagues. You know what they said?
“Do not say anything. Do not make Ernest angry. He does not care.”

And he does not.

We cancelled the VIA because Ernest did not want to hear the complaints.
The job market is brutal, and he knows it. He wears it like armor, like permission to treat us all like dirt. Like criminals. As if respect is too expensive a luxury to waste on us.

Quarterly reviews? Forget it. My boss literally told me to just get AI to generate something. Promotions? Not a chance. Ernest fills jobs from the outside, proudly waving the diversity flag, while those of us drowning here never get pulled from the water.

Every single person in Supply Chain hates their job in Spring.
We are exhausted. We are broken. We bleed for this place, and in return we get nothing. No bonuses. No stock worth anything. Just the knowledge that Ernest collects his fat paycheck on the blood and sweat of our backs.

And the Fire Side Chat?
God. Two hours before, you will hear someone calling this place what it is, a shithole. But once the cameras roll, suddenly it is smiles and empty words about how great it all is.
It is pathetic. It is tragic.
We are so dysfunctional it hurts.
