Bill is incredibly pompous and smug. Dude is out of touch and needs to resign ASAP!

Large DSP wave tomorrow...
Good luck all. The C-level execs need new yachts I guess so sc--w the employees.

She doesnt know anything!
Dell is run by 4 people - none of whom are MD
My son is friends with the son of an ex Finance VP at Dell whom quit last year. We were chatting about dell and he basically said that the company is run by 4 people, none of which are MD. JC being one of them, Doug Schmitt I think was another and I forgot the other two lol... MD just cares about his billions and whatever needs to be done to increase his money is told to those 4; basically.
This is all a "DUH" but it was interesting to hear this from an ex finance VP.
But he was saying that no matter high up you are, what you want or say is moot unless these 4 people say it's not "moot." They dgaf about anyone or anything except the mass amounts of money they earn. MD only cares about his billions, and If it hurts their bank accounts then they will lay off thousands with no concern, cheap out on raises/promotions, etc etc etc...
Promotions are impossible to get now and those who get them are in countries that aren't the US. In Role promotions are basically non-existent as well. Not impossible but just not likely.
Long story short, the "main" people running the company only care about THEIR money. Not you, or any of the tends of thousands who make them that money.
Marketing sol leaders are blind followers
You can’t say anything or do anything out of step. Theyre all rule following goody two shoes
Tired
New Year new round of layoffs. It was done very quietly and most are afraid to even talk about it. We all know more are coming. The push to rely more on dealers, cutting sales offices, service, and warehousing. Moving towards direct to customer aka drop ship. Jobs being sent overseas for cheap labor. Push for automation and focus on using AI. All geared to eliminate as much of the US workforce as possible. Then act surprised that moral and engagement are so low. Upper Management focused on stupid rules like camera on for calls and more in office days while sales numbers tank and existing customers become more angry. How much time and money wasted on Kickoff meetings and surveys just to sp-t in the face of the workers. Just holding on until I get a new job. It's a sinking ship, man the lifeboats.
Franco reviewing WFH requests
Every WFH request has to be reviewed now and approved by our CEO himself. Little baby Lord Farqaad throwing a tantrum because his servants didn’t want to risk their lives coming into the office. Heard there were multiple injuries be they didn’t bother to treat the parking lots. Pathetic.
Oracle is riding with Mud Horses
Oracle is making a mistake by choosing cheap labor over quality. By hiring fresh graduates to save money and moving work offshore, the company has stopped improving its products and is now just maintaining them.
The experienced people who actually know how things work are being ignored or are waiting to leave, while the bosses at the top keep doing the same old things just to keep their jobs. New hires are using AI to write code, but they don't truly understand the systems.
People are worried stock will drop more because Oracle doesn’t have a strong cloud or AI strategy. Even its financial strategy is poor. No mo--n will go for such a big debt immediately.
To fix this, Oracle needs to analyze stagnant projects. Rework on talents. Get rid of the stuck leadership at the top, and start rewarding the real experts who can actually innovate. Remember Oracle pays low. If it layoff and hires back its going to be another challenge.
C-Suite Has Money. What they desperately want is respect.
Give them none.
Skeletor, Cuervo Swerve-O, and SD have no compunction about making our experience as employees worse. From cutting our 401k match to delusional AI boosterism, they've demonstrated they are incapable of leading.
Mock them for the hacks they are whenever you can.
No Raise if…..
Your salary is past the mid point. Just another FU from this sh-t a$$ company. Can’t wait to leave
Performance Review Time
Performance reviews here are a joke. They will shamelessly give good workers a bad review.
Worst Board, CEO and HR. When employees are treated like trash, where are legal and ethics?
since when did USAA become so brutal. It's very traumatic and damaging mentally of someone escorted out with hundreds of eyes staring. Nobody wants to be shamed publicly.
Recent Layoffs attributed to losing a large contract
The irony - People who were responsible to lose the contract are rewarded with continuing employment and perhaps bonus while all people not even remotely connected are fired.
CEO and their cronies - "I take full responsibility and willing to sacrifice 2500 wonderful and talented colleagues for my stupid mistakes"
Nabisco
Absolutely the worse company on this planet. They are all liars and it filters out like a plague. Thousands in positions they have no business in being in.
Are there any good managers here anymore?
Serious question: after all the cuts and chaos, does anyone actually work for a manager who knows what they're doing? Feels like all the good ones left, and the ones left are either checked out or clueless.
Layoffs for the ones doing the work
The fat cat CEO's are earning millions and billions in compensation, while the normal Joe who's making a meager salary gets laid off or hours/pay cut. Time for a universal revolt to overthrow the corrupt capitalist systems embedded through and within government corruption.
A failing leadership team
In all my years here, the leadership has never been worse. They consistently make poor decisions that demoralize everyone. How do they keep their jobs while the company suffers?
Layoffs are never an employees fault
Please remember this if you’re second-guessing yourself. You were not fired. You were removed because of lousy leadership that can only make itself look good by getting rid of as many people as possible to make the numbers look better. That’s all this is about.
In-Crowd Cliques, Offshoring and HIH are going to massively fail 5 years from now.
And those of you laid off are going to be in way better spots and laughing at the decisions being made today by terrible people who are so shortsighted.
Planning and design all hands
During the all hands meeting we had the other day the VPs were saying they were looking to change current employee roles to, essentially, lower level roles. They’re basically giving out demotions but saying they’re good opportunities for growth.
They’ve already started doing this by forcing engineers and coordinators into drafting OSP designs.
Sadly not many people are complaining or raising concerns, and an oddly large amount of people are “excited” to provide “value” to the company.
By the looks of it, there's no discernible criteria for these layoffs
They're cutting skilled workers and veterans, even people in critical roles. Where's the logic in that? This short-term profit boosting through cuts is always incredibly short-sighted.
lol
Mods pulled xxon post saying they have issues with unassigned space.
How about the mangers stop saving spaces and tell us where we can and can’t sit.
It’s first come first serve. Thats the whole model
Outlook
It is no secret that the overseas agents were bad. The ai tools were good sometimes, other times totally wrong with what they said and not helpful. I understand using tech to make it easier. But I have serious doubts that the actions they have taken this month will benefit the company, remaining employees, or customers. In my mind I thought I'll wait it out and when they realize it was a mistake, I'll apply again. But the more I look for new employment and the more time removed from Wayfair, I don't think going back is a good move. Which su-ks because I liked a lot of people there. At this point I'll be happy to get my w2 and be done with them.
Are they really d-mb or not getting the real information from their as* kissers or good liars?
I cannot believe the words coming out from these so called leaders mouth. I guess as long as they can travel the world and enjoy in company’s cost - they don’t care. It will be another company that goes to ground.
Regret starting here
Only in the company a few months. Chaos everywhere, nothing works as it should, layoffs , Reorg and no CEO. People treated like cr-p and MGMT are the worst I've ever seen
What a dump , I'm lucky that I've enough savings to last 2 years so I'm thinking of walking out
100x stock price crash..
Is this what Sandip Dorkani meant by 100x, crashing the stock price? 52 week low of 234 could be reached at this point. One disaster after another lately with leadership. Brush up your resume and look elsewhere, the only thing that will 100x now is layoffs, if that is even possible
They Forced me out after 27 years
With a pip. What a horrible company
Incompetent Management
Wireless used to be a great company and I loved working there until the Vodafone buyout. Once the telecom executives got a hold of wireless they started the RIF/outsource/off-shore march. The Telecom side hasn't been profitable for decades so you can downsize as your business shrinks. This strategy does not work for wireless when you're adding 250k-1M customers a quarter. Verizon doesn't know how to run a successful business. The telecom senior management removed all the Wireless execs and proceeded to turn Verizon Wireless into Verizon Telecom which was a death sentence. Verizon has never bought a business that they haven't destroyed with the same failed strategy of RIF/outsource/off-shore. That's the only thing they know and it has never worked. They did the same to YAHOO, American online and countless other acquisitions. As soon as I heard about the Vodafone deal, I said within 10 years, wireless will be ruined and I was right. When I left, I tried to transfer my concession number to my private phone (after approvals). I was totally offline for 4 days and ended up just having my non-concession number restored. Because I recently bought a new phone on a promotion, it was also cancelled as they tried to change my number. Took me another 6 months to get my billing corrected. They RIF'd everyone on the wireless side who knew what they were doing. These id--ts never learn. They keep doing the same thing expecting a different outcome. Sounds like insanity to me. I took a VSP but I feel really bad for the folks still trying to hold on. My advice... if you're under 50 years old take a RIF and find a company that appreciates you. If you're 50 or older, find something first. It's not easy finding a comparable job and salary once you get into your 50's.
Houcardilab is run by Clowns!
IMO - Optum should completely overhaul and replace the incompetent and absent middle management from all the inherited poor performing Kelsey-Seybold Clinics within Houston Metropolitan area. Most of these pseudo leaders were promoted by their sleezy, biased, discriminatory, and undeserving Grandfathered department chairs. Supervisors and team leads nearly out number the true blue collar employees.
NTT is a disappointment
I was hoping for better than my last job. But that didn't happen. It's as if I never left the other company. Broken promises, a bunch of hot air and bunch of pretenders.
A bloated management layer
This place is so incredibly top-heavy with managers who have fancy titles but deliver nothing. Of course, all of them protect each other, which is why they survive every reorg. Imagine a world in which they are the ones getting cut and the people who actually contribute are left alone. I know, never gonna happen here.
Stay quiet if you know what's good for you
Pointing out issues or problems is a surefire way to get marked as a troublemaker. The response of those above you - in my experience but others as well - is never to address the issue, but to punish the messenger. Needless to say, HR is not your friend in this process, so you end up being sc--wed over for trying to fix things. Just don't bother.
The timing is brutal
My heart goes out to everyone who was let go last week. With the economy and job market like this, I don't think the timing could be worse. The company's disregard for people's lives is shocking and cruel.
NGSA
Anyone else having the joy of working with NextGen AEs straight out of school?
I work with a few, and the spectrum is… spectacular. A tiny minority might actually grow into the role. The rest have perfected the art of delegating everything except praise and self-promotion. Responsibility? Experience? Insight? Optional. Ego? Olympic-level.
Dell seems to be placing a bold bet on these kids. In reality, it’s like handing a Ferrari to someone whose only driving experience is Mario Kart — thrilled, clueless, and fully expecting the finish line to magically appear ahead of everyone else. Meanwhile, the rest of us are clinging to the brakes, praying we survive the ride.
And management? Don’t get me started. They sit on calls nodding like bobbleheads, drinking in everything these kids say as if it were brilliance, blissfully unaware that the actual work is being done by everyone else. Talk about knowing your business — more like blind leading the blind.
Dell is a house of cards… and I’m just waiting for someone to sneeze.
Sc--w Amazon
Worst company in the world. Should not be part of the FAANG group
This is your sign
This is your sign to leave if you are an individual contributor at Medical Solutions (non-management role).
I can't begin to describe the abusive and manipulative workplace they have created since 2023 after layoffs.
What they say and do is not normal, how they treat you is not normal, what they expect of you is not normal.
My life has been infinitely better since leaving. My work valued, expectations lowered, raises higher (no 2% raises there are not normal), wages higher.
Your 5-9 or really even during your 9-5 efforts should be focused entirely on getting out of that place. If you land a remote job double up and milk them until they fire you for as many paychecks as you can.
In case you missed it med sol is a valued as a CCC company by the investment firm (the kind of $h.it that crumbles in recessions).
I'll say it in layman terms: they do not care about you and will lay you off the first chance they get because it pads their bottom line.
There are thousands of other companies that will value you more than this place. Get out and let your managers who have been ordered to manage you out to deal with the stress of manufactured urgency they have created.
This is your sign.
Worst Leadership Team Ever
I’ve been around long enough to see multiple versions of Nike’s SLT come and go. This one is easily the worst. Even with natural turnover over the years, I’ve never seen a group this ineffective or directionless. There’s no real vision, no sense of how to move the company forward. Even the person at the top seems to be winging it. Hard to see how this ends well. The company feels beyond saving.
I despise this company
I have never in my life felt more contempt for an organization than I do for UHG. Their revenue comes from denying medical care and stealing from the federal government. Our CEO is like a Frankenstein-esque combination of Darth Vader and Mr. Burns. They treat their employees like s--- and outsource jobs to Indians who barely speak English and couldn't code their way out of a paper bag. UHG is basically a corporate sweatshop.
And let's not forget about the incompetent, soulless freaks who make up the executive team. You gotta love working under 12 layers of id--ts who spend their days not actually doing anything productive but sitting in meetings planning how to cut costs and squeeze more work out of their burned out employees. F this place.
How I know our leaders don’t care about us
Facing a dangerous cold snap that will impact most of the HCSC offices, not a single message was sent from anyone that said “you know what, because we value your health and safety, don’t worry about badging in on Friday. Your wellbeing is our more important to us than checking a box or monitoring your whereabouts.”
T-Mobile Ran Into The Ground
It’s clear that the amount of greed here is at the top of the list. This company will fold within a few years.
