I talked to someone at UP on another platform and was told seniority with UP only determined your shift and off days. Management will line up individuals on any job they want to and seniority does not matter.

Just heard that SCX supervisors will be terminated and the shop will be WABTEC. Craft employees will be offered jobs with them.

Talked to my supervisor friend out of Atlanta, he's hearing that SCX is closing and only Chattanooga will be kept open to the coast.
