Especially if you're right or your idea is actually good. You'll either get punished for it or watch someone else take credit. Learned that the hard way. Just let leadership, your manager and above, wallow in their own bad decisions. None of it matters to you anyway.

Stankey is a boomer is he not?
Was at the ERG conference and the Stink boldy stated.. Boomers are irrelevant. They also proudly web post how the company is veteran friendly, yet they let go president and cRO of the veteran chapter. Others on erg being targeted along with hacemos. The company is run by a sicko stinky wanky.

AT&T is more open to different opinions than most other companies.
Last year was a trip after the employee survey, to which Stankey was all butt hurt the employees called the company out. What did sensitive John do? He wrote that email basically saying “love it or leave it”. Which in all honesty was probably how ol Stank actually feels about his employees. If pickleball court Stankey just stopped his stupid chicken wing eating promos or whatever that Home Alone video was at Christmas, and was just honest that he just cares about making money, we’d respect him and his senior leadership.
OP is right, keep your mouth shut, do the bare minimum at work, make your money and F leadership. Get yours like they’re getting theirs.
It’s ironic that we used to have an employee program called “Your Opinion Matters”. My how the times have changed!
Need not look beyond a supply chain AVP who was recently promoted IN to that role.
Ineptitude and lack of empathy towards team is rewarded.
No one cares about your opinion. You sounds extremely entitled. The idea you had means nothing without actually following through and implementing it.
You don’t get “credit” for an idea.
You get credit for being able to actually get it done.
well give someone credit they were smart enough to get rid of her
Mobility tech here…I’ve documented crazy safety issues and am promptly ignored. There’s a serious problem lately with communication. Seems like mgmt reeeeally hates both union workers and their own job. What away to run (poorly) a company.
That goes for the employee survey also. Be sure not to fill it out this year because Stankey was clear that your opinion does not matter.
