Tell the client the truth... They may have an option to move over and DXC can't fire you for being honest that's retailation and a law suit. Till then update your docs and just look around or do whatever needs to be done. Stop lying to clients for DXC. Expose them
@r9 TBF I think he's equally taking the pi-s. The company is all fluff and bluster. Oasis or whatever this weeks distraction buzz word is - we all know the score. The management probably know the score - but unlike us - they cannot appear to give up or admit it won't work. That would really send the share price down to 0. They are clearly day trading it. Sell short, say it's not so good and it goes down. Take the profit. Then buy, invent a new AI powered strategy and put out an announcement, the share recovers some way - sell again. Oh look I just made 20% on my money! DXC is just a cash sponge. Who's losing and gaining money in all this? Meanwhile take the salary, and just keep quiet until they let us go seems to be the strategy of the majority.

OP - Your depiction of the company is not correct.
It is a given that all companies have their downsides and dxc in is no exception. Having said that, our executives are steering this company in times which are very challenging because of the wars, economic climate and AI disruption.
Our executives have a wonderful strategy "Oasis" - this platform dxc, platform x, SRA in steroids. This is selling like hot cakes and we are limiting sales because of the backlog in the onboarding. We are working hard to resolve that as well.
The second part of this year we will come out in flying colours. Make dxc great again, is the slogan of the new execs and we are winning every where that you will be tired of winning.
Calling DXC an IT company is like calling a burning dumpster a heating solution.
If you have any skills, for the love of god, update your resume and leave asap for your financial future as well as mental peace. The longer you stay, the harder it will be to go since your skills will slowly go away and you will not find a better place to go. Exit asap!
Useless dufuses get out of that place if you are qualified or else wait for wfr.
This is a company run by executives for executives and their cronies.
Impossible to get stuff done. No support from line management. No help from colleagues. If you loose access or something breaks then the process has probably changed since last time. Or nobody know or cares so you just give up and don't fix it and work around it.
Everyone just wants out. Nobody has any eye on building a career and making a difference.
It's not IT company. Using computers does not make it IT. It's simple outsourcing, ticket factory.
