Pretty please? Aren't they supposed to make our jobs easier instead of harder? Why is NS determined to just promote or hire completely incompetent people? Why?

Lack of confidence vote
Jeffrey A. Goldstein, Nicole Anasenes, Mark Benjamin, Anil Chakravarthy, Kourtney Gibson, Lisa A. Hook, Kenneth T. Lamneck, Gary L. Lauer, James B. Stallings Jr.….
This is lack of market confidence in your CEO. You put Gary, Jeff, Frank in same role and the stocks pops.
Stock at all time high
Just imagine if we have more competent ELT
So sorry to everyone who was laid off today
I lost two truly competent people on my team - we are certainly going to feel it.
Anyone met the CISO?
interested in your impression if you have met him. i met him a while back and was not impressed. he seem odd and awkward and didnt really appear competent for his job.
Moody's Downgrade of TIAA and Nuveen
Read an article on our proposed acquisition of Schroders.
https://alternativecreditinvestor.com/2026/02/13/schroders-deal-costs-to-weigh-on-nuveen-profitability-says-moodys/
From the article
Moody’s has downgraded its outlook for both TIAA and Nuveen from ‘stable’ to ‘negative’, citing the anticipated credit impact of the acquisition.
The ratings agency said the TIAA downgrade reflects anticipated weakening of its financial profile, resulting from the high cost to finance the acquisition. This will increase leverage, reduce capital adequacy, and heightens execution and integration risk associated with the transaction, it said.
Moody’s also noted that “despite the complementary nature of the European asset management target and its potential to bolster Nuveen’s market position and earnings diversification, the acquisition lies outside TIAA’s core higher education pension business”, which is another factor in its decision to revise down the outlook.
With all the layoffs and firings, one has to ask whether our EC is competent enough and whether we have the resources to pull this off. It seems risky. This is about to be a big expensive mess.
What's up with the new people?
Is anyone else noticing that the recent hires seem totally unprepared? They don't have the skills, they don't seem motivated, and we're spending all our time training them on basics they should already know. Can we get some competent new hires, please?
What's with all of these Beta managers
How are all of these soft beta simps still around? And why are we bringing in more from outside? They clearly lack competence and confidence, have no authority and serve no purpose other than being middlemen.
Will investors ever hold management accountable?
Truly seems like management is being paid to run this company into the ground without consequences. I can only imagine what investors would think if they went to the HQ to see what is really going on with this company. Such potential and it is all going to waste because the wrong people are on a power trip and they are removing competent people who would replace them and do a better a job. If only the investors knew what was really going on at Estero and Atlanta.
Maybe the investors do know and they are making a profit when we fail? Maybe the plan is for Hertz to fail and this was all done on purpose.

This leadership is useless
They only rely on layoffs and cost cuts and then they wonder why the stock keeps going down. Can we get some competent people in charge, please?
Control and power is not a substitute for competence
You all know who you are. And we all know who you are as well. Your insecurity is laughable. Keep talking more and more. Quietly listening in your meetings I love hearing about your control statements about “your money”, “your model”, or how you’ve never seen so many people invited to a peer review before. Actually heard one of these guys recently say “ I actually have a college degree”. Funny both poor examples I saw today are COP leaders.
I happily heard competent people today as well say “our money”, “the relevant people”, and “our model”.
Chevron needs team players to win in any environment, not insecure power trippers. Please get with the program.
Cr-p support, bad product
Alteryx’s so‑called “premier” support is a joke. We are forced to repeat version details for every ticket, then receive automated emails at 1 a.m. that never actually help—just delay the process. When we finally get a call, the representatives are brusque, dismissive, and vouching for a product they obviously don’t understand.
After investing hundreds of thousands of dollars a year for just a handful of inquiries, we’re treated like we’re on the wrong end of the telephone.
Alteryx, your support must stop treating us like a flaw in the system and start acting with genuine care and competence.
Sales enablement… not!
As part of the reorg, we have this new sales enablement function. I still have not seen the value of this function as none of the leads are not really doing much. What is this supposed to be? Can we get some competent people to enable this?
Never seen the incompetence of the mid man managers
Bunch of id--ts running the business . Shame
