T-Mobile continues the show by creating unnecessary Senior Manager positions only to back track and layoff a handful later on each year. I am honestly surprised T-Mobile employees don’t file a class action for miss leading career promises. Don’t take my word for it, wait for Q1 2026 and comment here! Any Senior Manager or RMM with low amount of stores are in question from what sources are sharing.

McKinsey EBU
I heard that McKinsey will be moving on from PSBU and going to EBU. Have fun with that. If you dont know who they are I would check out John Oliver's last week tonight deep dive on them. With the slow downs in EBU (shifts being cut, layoffs, reduced work weeks) and now McKinsey, I would watch out there.
Bo-b drops today
Some folks have received the memo, communication already.
Others will have the decision communicated today and in stages rest of the week.
Bob's reshuffling at the top has fueled another change, no one is immune.
If the numbers are to be believed, expect ~6k associates to be impacted
Entire 6k will not be this week but in stages, until Q1 2026
If your manager tells you otherwise, they're lying of course
Internal Restructuring
How is nobody talking about this? Should I be applying elsewhere?? "Truist is undergoing internal restructuring. Sources indicate that between 500 and 700 contractors were cut last Friday in Digital and Technology divisions citing "policy concerns". Additional reductions are on the horizon, including cuts to employee benefits, further contractor downsizing, and full-time staff layoffs.'
CFO Quote Is so infuriating
This quote angers me so much:
“It won’t be anything special,” Chief Financial Officer Dominik Asam told the German newspaper Handelsblatt, saying the annual job reductions are “like brushing your teeth.”
It shows arrogance and lack of empathy of the CFO. These cuts mean so much to everyone affected by them. And even to those not directly affected. It affects the community of SAP immensely.
More to come
Layoffs in Spain were confirmed again today via an early morning email, following a pattern similar to the previous announcement. Thoughts are with all colleagues.

Did Any Layoffs Occur Yesterday 10/6/25?
My team had a very short notice 15 minute teams call yesterday with our Sr. Manager letting us know that another different Sr. Manager on our team was no longer with the company effective immediately.
The Sr. Manager who was let go regularly interacts with our entire team so the main point of the call was to instruct us who to reach out to directly going forward for issues the former Sr. Manager used to deal with.
To all of our knowledge the Sr. Manager was an extremely high performer and was very well liked by our Director and Executive Director.
Trying to figure out if this was a one off or part of a larger batch of layoffs.
PP outsourced a bunch of support staff
Used to work in a department of PP, they recently hired a bunch of people that live in India and then PP did a mass layoff of almost all of the US and Canada support teams, including me. I'm just frustrated.
Layoffs after One Weatherford Week?
We have been holding hands together and singing "Kumbaya, My Lord" so much for One Weatherford Week that we forgot how bad our stock and market are at the moment. Could this mean that layoffs are right around the corner after this One Weatherford Week?
Lists are final?
Read an HR post that they were due yesterday, is that confirmed?
CL’s All Hands
Was his message: We did a few layoffs to invest in ai, but it was not performance based AND our focus for the next 6 months is to integrate AI in all our code so that they can more easily get rid of us?
Buckle up, It's going to get bumpy in Health
Layoffs are coming EOY, maybe BOY. Losing 3 out of 6 clients, along with the consistent effort of moving support off shore....
Egypt Exploration
Cannot wait to see the results after laying off most the geos with proven successful exploration experience.
When's the next VERP?
With all the lay offs and facilities closing, when will they off the next VERP, early retirement package? If 2nd quarter 2026, that would be 3 years since the last package. 4 years would be 2027, hope not that long.
Pulte Quietly Letting People Go. (10/7/2025)
Pulte Divisions are starting to let people go 1 or 2 at a time to avoid the mass layoff optics and attention. Employees beware.
Oracle GRC - EOL
Will the layoffs hit the GRC staff? I remember on May 2025 they announced the support will no longer be delivered to customers, so it switches on user’s responsibility. Is GRC employees included in layoffs plan?
Remote deam and the pink life at Dell
1- You think Dell can go back to full remote for everybody ?
2- and you think that layoff can be stopped at a certain time ?
HMH is not the place to work
This place is driven by the top management who's only focus is to get their big fat bonus come next spring. So Bloody October is an every year occurrence for this company. Worker be where this place does not care about you.

Another round of layoffs today!!
Heinemann is getting hit HARD today by layoffs. Approximately 10 so far and the calendar invites with HR keep coming.
Which countries/orgs have been hit?
There are a lot of rumors going around, and it’s hard to tell what’s actually true.
Layoff envy
I couldn’t sleep all night last night as I realized the lucky ones just got laid off with nice, little severance packages. I can’t do all this work alone on my team. I have no chance of job satisfaction with looming layoffs in the future. I’ve been set up to fail. It’s become obvious that there will be no promotions anytime soon let alone one every three or four years. We all just got neutered. Ironically…that’s what we thought just happened to all the guys who just got laid off. What a dumpster fire.
The Club Wyndham Skyline Tower closing

Was anyone laid off because we ranked 567?
Did anyone lose their job because we ranked so low on Forbes list?
Renault targets 3,000 job cuts amid cost-saving measures
Renault is set to propose voluntary redundancies for around 3,000 employees in support functions, in a move to streamline operations, as reported by Reuters, citing L'Informe, a French newsletter.
In collaboration with its alliance partners Nissan and Mitsubishi Motors, Renault Group recently announced that it is entering a new phase focused on the development of electric vehicles and the pursuit of industrial synergies within Europe.

Is anyone else worried that most of the cuts are outside the US?
It feels like they’re separating us from the rest of the world and getting ready to throw something even bigger at us down the line.
Sadistic company
Sometimes it feels like some of the decisions being made are there for no reason other than to make our lives harder. I think this leadership is sadistic and has turned Wells Fargo into a sadistic company. I don’t think anyone is still here because they want to be.
All associate meeting today
Anyone have any insight into any bombshell set to be dropped at today's all associate meeting? Is this when they lay the RTO onto people, or any new reorg%alignments/RIFs planned that will come out today?
Get ready for more work
The work the laid off people were doing didn't disappear. It'll still need to be done. And guess who'll be doing it? Certainly not the ones who made the decision to lay people off and certainly not new people, because they're not going to hire any replacements. Which means, those of us still in IT are sc--wed.
Everett Cash team gutted
Hello,
I was recently let go last week and 80% of our team was as well. Everett for years has been the step child to boston but when speaking with my manager at the time of my layoff , the hiring in Florida is going to go full steam ahead in 2026. Majority of the jobs in everett will eventually get replaced with florida hires and by the time we were set to go boston it will be a shell of its former self. I also just like many of you on this website didnt get full severance. I was capped at 12 weeks due to missing my mandatory (54 hours of training) what a lovely place to work. Im thankful I have interviews set up already working with a recruiter but I wish I left sooner.
RIF's Incoming EMEA
Large scale RIF's coming this month! There is a memo currently doing the rounds with management, looking for additional departmental cuts. They initally are looking to trim the fat. Like before Attendance, time keeping, performance, etc.
Elliott Investment Management are undertaking large scale cost-cutting imitative along with other cost saving and restructuring initiatives. The RIF's will begin this month and continue through to 2026.
Elliott are planning to undertake a number of acquisitions of specific medical device companies, with the end goal being to transfer products to more competitive countries. Keep watching this space, for the types of companies bought and country they are situated in. This will give a good indication as to which facilities are for the block.
New Verizon ceo just in time for contract no coincidence
Listen this new CEO was brought in to cut management, cut costs and raise stock prices .This is no coincidence he was brought in right as the merge with frontier which has contracts and the largest current contract up in August that they could not agree on an extension. So for the union people too this is no blessing !!!I believe the board saw Hans as too sympathetic to the Unions as Europe is .So I would now confidently say get ready for a long protracted Strike .The unions are too behind eight ball CWA IBEW to realize this was another strategic move by the VERIZON BOARD.McAdams 2.0 coming in .Any associate not starting to realize where this is headed in next few months and stop suk in the management in the fios back room deserves what’s next but is out weakest link open your eyes leadership/membership
Severance
Has anyone (let go in early August) actually gotten their severance checks yet? Something seems really off.
The people I know who also got laid off haven't received their checks yet either.
