So lots of managers laid off last week.. and the team members were moved to various new managers... How much time do we have ? 1 week? 6 months? Decades? And BAU?

I hope the managers involved in my layoff a few months back got shitcanned.
If the manager got laid off and they shifted you, you should be fine. They would have laid you off with the manager if that was the intent.
Whoever the new people are to the manager are always at greater risk of getting let go than the people the managers already been over for a while.
really, I thought managers are safer than non manager employees
