Updated Department Specific Layoff

If you have been laid off recently, What department were you in and what band level? I see a lot of Evicore people are being laid off. I'm wondering if this applies to any other Cigna preauthorization department? Customer Service reps? IT teams? etc. Also, were you given any notice, or were you laid off immediately without notice? I'm just trying to see where Cigna is going with this. The suspense kinda got me what to just quit and go full force with my side business.

Layoffs in Wealth

What’s going on in Wealth? Just heard today that some layoffs happened quietly in late 2025, but more are coming.. Specifically to Trust, not TIS and this will directly impact central/eastern NC.

these layoffs have made everyone miserable. I've NEVER experienced such low morale in my career.

On top of that, my workload has doubled because of the reductions. Everyone I've spoken to is drowning in work and leadership keeps droning on about efficiency. I'm doing work that previously had nothing to do with me. At this rate, I'll take a pay cut just to work somewhere else. I guess that's what they want.

You should always be looking

There are two types of people at Xerox: (1) those coasting to retirement who are likely 55 and older who don't need another job, and (2) those with a career ahead of them.

If you are in group (1) then congrats on your upcoming retirement, it's likely to happen within the next year.

If you are in group (2) then I really hope you have your resume up to date, and are at a minimum exploring opportunities. Make connections to recruiters and other companies who are in your area, or who offer remote work if that's something you do. It can never hurt to get your name out there, even if it's simply to practice the interview process if you've spent most of the last couple decades at Xerox.

Group (2) might have years left, or days, you really never know. It's much easier to find a job when you have a job, than have to be under the stress of interviewing when you have no income or healthcare.

And no matter what, keeping your skills up to date is up to you. Xerox is unlikely to invest in you, but if you can find skill sets that compliment what you already know, or better yet help Xerox so you can justify continuing to build up those skill sets, then go for it!

Good luck to everybody tomorrow. I have a feeling that it is not going to be that large, but we'll continue to see these targeted reductions throughout the year.

Retained employees

For anyone who was retained, are you having a hard time focusing this week? Our team was hit pretty hard and it's hard to focus during meetings where you know certain people should be there. Yes, some of those that were let go were my friends, but it just makes me very sad.

Firm update garbage

I find it ironic (in the recent update message) that PP set the clear expectation that EDJ would lead the industry in understanding and improving client well-being. Sounds like when she set that expectation, the fine print was omitted that should have read "while systematically destroying 100 years of culture, overseeing the first round of layoffs this firm has ever seen, and on the backs of people that have dedicated entire careers to this firm before we kick them out the door and replace them with foreign contractors."

Does anyone take what she writes seriously anymore?

New Exxodus?

Is it me or is there an uptick in resignations from Exxon employees. Not new hires but 10-20 year experience. The company is in a strong financial position and there wasn’t any layoffs or egregious decisions (I.e. eliminating 401k match). Is that what other people are seeing too? Whats going on?

2800 more to be offboarded by EOY

Unless they are stopped, they will continue to force low ratings, terminations, removed merit amongst other things. They plan alot more cuts in 2026 and think they will be AI leaders in the industry when we have to work off systems over 30 years old cause they refuse to upgrade them. FOH. Dont let them get away with it people. Save all prior performance now and challenge any bs ratings

Tone-deaf CEO remarks

At the Salesforce company kickoff in las Vegas yesterday Mark Benioff joked about ice and bragged about how many people he was hiring but did not acknowledge the stress or the trauma that ice is inflicting on his own employees, let alone the capricious layoffs in professional services that affected people who typically bill hundreds of thousands of dollars per year.

He seemed tone deaf and completely insulated from what it's like for the people who work for him but still had the gall to mention ohana many times. The internal slack channels were on fire with people, many of whom had been laid off without cause.
The public video was edited to omit the remarks in a very awkward and amateurish way.

Salesforce used to be an exception but now it is just yet another billionaire-owned company that only cares about next quarters profit and loss.

Solid performance! Over performance! More than projected !

Yet you are not giving at least 50 percent of your associates either no raises or bonuses though their hard work and perseverance has gotten you these outstanding results. Ahh I remember complaining about getting the pizza party now this feels like a pat on the back or a ribbon to pin on my shirt. The RIFS, ERP and lack of AIP and raises you would make people think numbers are not being hit but in the mist of the lack of Moral within you are producing exceedingly high numbers. You should be ashamed that many of your associates have to choose between buying groceries or paying for their high medical bills ,because the only thing they can afford is the HDMP cheapest option. Even a penny short on their check puts them at risk of being homeless or not being able to get a loaf of bread to last them until the next check.
