For anyone who was retained, are you having a hard time focusing this week? Our team was hit pretty hard and it's hard to focus during meetings where you know certain people should be there. Yes, some of those that were let go were my friends, but it just makes me very sad.

Oh yes, our boss actually said we can work from home this week if we want because he knows how hard it is for all of us, like you said, they were left in the dark.
Managers and directors are in the dark. My boss tried to cheer me up by saying “we’re safe”, as confirmed by her boss. I’m still not confident that anyone is safe, ever. They might be done for now but it’s still a bumpy road ahead.
@an digital stayed, but CIO hired him like a month ago. Pharmacy, product, corporate systems, retail apps, infra, architecture, and VRO all eliminated, replaced or now "open"
@a5 VPs who got fired in IT didn't do much anyway. I thought only some VPs got laid off, not all?
@a2 managers dont know anything. Literally no one knows anything. They fired all the VPs in IT. They didnt tell anyone what was about to happen.
@OP yes. Honestly, no one knows what’s going on. My department was reorganized heavily and we don’t know what’s happening and managers aren’t communicating. It’s a hot mess.
