Zero su-ks

Impossible to find anything on Zero. Any site keeps spinning for minutes. The much vaunted and showcase implementation of AI enabled agent zero has never worked for me... Keep getting gateway error any time I try to use it. What a joke... Emblematic of the state of technology at the company. Lots of noise and rah rah BS followed by no delivery.

The illusion of inclusion.

I received an email, same as all you, asking for ideas. A similar email was sent by Hans. I also gave sincere feedback during Pulse. Multiple submissions in Ideas at Work.

For over a decade, I have tenured ideas. Also for over a decade, I have cautioned leadership regarding the clear missteps that they were making. It was tempered at first, but was amplified when Hans was hired. There were many red flags.

"The plan will be presented to the board for them to approve.". Yes, that's how corporations work. Hans did the same, and how did that work out? The signs of the impending failure were obvious.

So the root of the issue are those that do the hiring of the CEO. The board needs flipped.

All hat no Cattle!

I've been watching all of Dan's interviews, and attended his online Webex updates. Based on RIF execution and the substance of everything I've seen. My comment for our pretend cowboy/mixed martial arts master/Self proclaimed overachiever and coffee aficionado is: ALL HAT NO CATTLE!

I am trying to figure out if anything has actually improved over the past year

I left in January because the environment had become way too toxic, and now a new offer just landed in my inbox. The offer itself looks solid, but I am really unsure about stepping back into a place that pushed me out in the first place. I am hoping someone who stayed can give an honest read on whether things are actually better or if it is still the same mess I walked away from.

Cascade 3

Next cascade should focus on redoing cascade 1. Since cascade 2, we’ve seen the same incompetent leadership coming through. How about doing cascade 1 correctly before shaving associates first? As they say, it all starts with leadership and we have it seen one in a while. Btw… doing listening posts is not enough.

Leadership and the fake board felt asleep w “network superiority”

Very often I kept warning of competition eating our cake - and leadership was deaf, or they laughed, or they were very arrogant.

Friday - Hatchet man said we cannot relay on network - “no kidding, Sherlock”

It tool the board to kick 13k+ folks to wake up?

🤬

Done

Well. That’s it. Ford guy from way back. Sick of BS here. People su-k. Product su-ks. Done. Used to dream about ford. Fairlane, mustang, galaxy, comet….. so many name brands. Destroyed. Can’t take it. Ford blue. No more. Sorry !

Wonder if anyone still have faith for ExxonMobil Singapore future. The recent cut was very harsh and again a political game in the company. What is the future to work here in dying sunset industry with flooded China and regional advancement and high quality and cheaper products.. sell gas station, shutdown cr--ker, whats next 5yrs, 10yrs? What else will remain running? Comments please...

Congressman Dwight Evans

I contacted his office about the Comcast layoffs. They say they are working diligently to get the economy back on track and welcome feedback on ways to improve. They also recommend discussing with state and local officials.

It doesnt hurt to reach out .. takes 30 seconds on his website

If there’s any layoffs to be had, start with HR.

Those jokers just loved to deliver the matter of factly snarky message of “this is what’s best for Citi, we have to let you go” with such a smug look on their face. It’s time to replace those guys with AI. If there’s any test bed low hanging fruit group of people to run off, it’d be them. Trim the limbs off of that tree.

What use are they anyway. They don’t do anything but pass out busted links and direct you to a FAQ page that does not answer your questions. Let those guys go.

Too many irrelevant emails

What is it with DXC staff and email. I'm Cc'd on endless message chains. It's literally a full time job just trying to keep on top of reading it all. Can we not just have some propper systems. Unless directly asking me - I do not need to know. The point is when I do need to know - I'm not included!!! I give up on this place...

CarGurus hit the panic button and laid off too many people at once...

I joined this company when it was still considered a start-up and was part of its incredible growth during Covid, as well as the major decline it is now facing. Here are some things I noticed.

Management is not in tune with the market.

I hate to say this, but numbers were falsified during the CG buyout, which caused a hard fallout between the former management and CarGurus.

Many of the leaders who are still there are in over their heads.

CarGurus hit the panic button and laid off too many people at once, which led to a decline in dealers on the platform.

During Covid, CarOffer sc--wed over a lot of clients, which resulted in our reps getting kicked out of 20-group meetings and Auction Access taking rights away from CarOffer.

HMP - unassigned seating fails

ABU was among the first business units to move toward modernization and, in the process, implemented unassigned seating. The experiment failed spectacularly, creating widespread frustration and ultimately forcing a reversal back to assigned seating.

It’s hard not to ask why we continue to repeat initiatives that have already demonstrated clear and predictable failure, rather than learning from past experience.

Have we lost our biggest asset? People?

As our company fights for direction under this clueless CEO with the motto of “ Do less with less” and the leadership that has no concern for morale or wellbeing of employees it is alarming of the feedback among the people actually doing the work how unsecured everyone feels!!!! It’s no secret that our GOA wells are declining and we have no major plans in sight to keep the pipelines filled. Something big is brewing and we are left in the dark, word on the street is a major change in 2026 is coming.

Echo Chambers

How many of you agree that one of the first signs a company's leadership is beginning to fail, from top to bottom, is when feedback is disguised as praise (so you have a chance to keep your job and not be targeted in retailation) and true collaboration is nothing more than an echo- chamber to stoke egos?

Is this the new norm for most American companies? It sure seems so.
