Tell Dell should be audited by an independent 3rd party. Seems like every year it is manipulated. This year it was edited so much it's a laughing joke.
@av 50/50 where your base is still $70k+ is VERY different than having to live off of $50k. I’ve been in multiple sales orgs and I agree they all have their challenges but I would say MB is the toughest.
@b7 What version of tell dekk results did you see? The one my biss presented showed Dell at an 84 and tbe industry standard being 85. We all know 84 is a ridiculously inflated number though. I also noticed several categories where if you added up the % that answered positive, neutral, and negative the total was over 100%. My boss very quickly changed the subject when I asked how it was possible.
@ak of course, but at least last year they admitted our overall results were worse than industry standards and worse Y/Y. This year we are above industry standard with our overall in the 80's??! Just hard to believe considering my team is in the 30's lol
I also heard someone was let go because of a comment. Apparently they compared Kyle to Diddy lol
Not entirely true. Ranges vary. Some are on 50/50 and some on 60/40. Either way, to be polite, all orgs have challenges and opportunities.
@af yes. Other orgs are treated more like adults and they are all at least on 70/30 where their base is somewhat livable.

Is it really that much worse in MB/SB compared to Enterprise, Federal or Channel? I'm in MB myself am barely hanging on but I at least figured it was bad all round. I know Tell Dell results are skewed to be positive but the overall numbers seemed way better than I expected
That’s probably because they don’t get paid a livable base and they continually cut compensation as a whole in sales. Also tenure no longer matters in that org.
