Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

So sorry for everyone impacted

Here's an idea: why not overhaul the leadership? Every bad decision has come from the top. That might actually save the company.

@dc MN Distribution Centers, Sortation and warehouse in Woodbury have already taken multiple pay cuts due to losing shift differential and losing paid breaks and not being allowed to work extra to make up the hours each week they are losing. The multiple Execs at HQs need to step up and either streamline more and take a pay cut also. It is the front line workers that are being hit the hardest with pay and hours.

They have a bunch of business partner positions that are not needed. Give the DSDs more stores and actual stuff to do instead of just walk around. Get rid of food and beverage coordinators

@d5 Well Fiddelke flying around the country in the corporate jet, staffed by corporate pilots, copilots and whatever else, hugging store TMs then laying off a bunch of people certainly is a look.

wat if we all took 10-20% paycut i bet we'd be able to prevent the job loss... and it would help cut down on how much target is spending on employees... i live in a <500 sq ft apartment and have low expenses so im down, but i dunno if everyone is as selfless??

Not enough execs axed, they promoted inept people that should have been removed

I just read they are axing a lot of executive level people. Gomez and Sando shown the door.
