All I see today is news on the new treasury AI from FIS. Nothing about the layoffs. Well timed press to cover up the layoffs? Well timed to make it seem like the "jump" in profit looks like its coming from this so shareholders spend more? Thoughts?


What to expect next week?

This week was brutal. The rumors are endless, and it would be a relief to know for sure if we can at least take a breather for a couple of days. But honestly, I’m not feeling very optimistic.


Crazy question

With all the layoffs yesterday why was there no WARN letter sent out? Is it because most of the layoffs were remote workers so there were not enough layoffs at one particular location to meet the WARN eligibility threshold?


Animal house meeting tomorrow

My manager has a team meeting scheduled tomorrow for all of us. It's going to be like that scene in Animal House with Kevin Bacon. Utter chaos and our manager will be screaming "stay calm all is well!" F it I'm taking Monday off.
