It seems that FIS Belgrade office is in disarray. Lot of people were fired and morale is zero. It seems they are probbly going to close the office. Almost everybody there is trying to escape

@ce 800+. The RIF impact is no more than 1–2%. There was a big round where almost all directors (the so-called local management) were either laid off or downgraded.
The quality of the engineers makes the impact lower than in other FIS offices. The quality of management makes the impact stronger than in other FIS offices. Simple as that.

Like every other FIS office, we’re feeling the impact of these RIFs. They’re not tied to any specific location - it’s just a tough season across FIS overall. No one’s pretending this is an easy time.
That said, the talk about the office shutting down is just rumor. It’s the kind of speculation that spreads when people have more time than facts. In reality, most of our teams are still doing important work and contributing to key projects. There’s no reason to panic - we’re nowhere near the end of this office.
We are affected just like any other FIS office; these RIFs are not location-driven. It’s certainly not a pleasant period at FIS right now.
On the other hand, stories about the office closing are just rumors started by people with too much free time - they aren't based on reality. The majority of teams still play an important role and work on critical projects. Don’t be alarmed; we are far from seeing the end of this office
