Here we go
Good luck all, I know all of us will need it in the coming days.
Good luck to everyone tomorrow
At the very least, let's hope this round doesn't drag out.
It's been real, folks
I guess we all knew this was coming, but there was always some hope for a last-minute miracle. Well, no miracle or government bailout for us. To all my Spirit folks, stay strong. I'm sure most of us will land on our feet after this, as scary as it may seem now. Good luck, all!
good luck everyone
this is not the end; there’s life outside nike.. whatever happens, stay strong!
Laid off and relieved
Frankly, I didn't know it would feel this good. I was sick of the job and the constant anticipation. I have something lined up. Not certain, so who knows. But I don't care right now. Thanks to all the good people I worked with. I wish you all the best. Sincerely hope only people like me, the ones who wanted out, end up impacted.
Will the invites continue throughout the day?
My best wishes to the people who've already gotten one. I truly hope this turns out for the best for everyone impacted.
My heart goes out to everyone impacted
Maybe we think we're mentally prepared, and maybe many of us don't even like our jobs, but losing one still weighs heavy. And we all still need the paycheck. I hope everyone affected either has other options ready or gets lucky and finds a good job soon.
Retired
Retired recently with no Ford Pension owed to me and as I was reviewing my career resume it was revealing to note a contrast between Ford and the other OEM I worked for.
Similar position, however at the other OEM it was a “3-person” job.
Inefficient and no-value processes are PD costs at Ford no amount of reorganization or chair-shuffling will alleviate.
To make matters worse, no one has the courage to say “NO” to a process or tool with little value.
Best wishes to all who remain at Ford.
Hey everybody
Which companies are laying off this week or next week.
Good luck to everyone.🥶💰💵💸🤑
That's it for me
It wasn’t all bad, and I won’t pretend it was. The early days had their moments, but those have been few and far between for a long time now, which makes this easier to accept than I ever thought it would be. I wish the job market was stronger, but I’ll figure things out eventually. Wishing real luck to everyone staying, because it feels like you’ll need every bit of it.
Good luck next week
I expect it to be worse than what we've already been through. Being under this much stress for so long doesn't help with what's coming. I truly hope that whatever happens, things work out in the end for each and every one of us. And don't forget that being laid off or kept on has nothing to do with your worth, potential, or hard work.
Good luck to everyone
I hope those who want out get laid off, and those who badly need their jobs get to stay. May everyone get what they need. That's all.
Merry Christmas 🎁🎄
Wishing everyone the best for 2026 that were or will be affected in the future with layoffs.
Best wishes to everyone .
Happy New Year 🎆.
Goodbye For Now to the 12/10 Alumni Class
Good luck in the future to all new alumni.
Review this coming week
I’ve never been nervous about a review before but this year I really am. Afraid to be marked below for some made up thing no one has ever mentioned before. How is that right to mark a person below when the manager has not said anything all year? I’ve always had good reviews and feel I’ve really been doing a good job but this place has eroded my confidence. Review is Monday, don’t know if first day of week is good or bad. It’s wrong for any of us to be apprehensive over this. Oh well, best wishes to everyone.
Last month at Oxy coming up.....
Took the VSP and now going to the next phase in my life. Oxy has been really good to work for and I appreciate being able to leave on my own terms with the help of the VSP. I wish all those that are taking the VSP well on this new journey in life, and I will be pulling for all those still working at Oxy. Good luck to all and I hope you and your families are all blessed. Thank you Oxy for making this possible.
Can’t say I was thrilled with the job
But I’d been trying to find something else for months, and nothing ever came through. Now I’m laid off, and the panic is setting in. Wishing everyone who lost their job yesterday the best of luck, I think we’re all going to need it.
Thanks for everything
After over 2 decades at T, I got hit by a surplus back in 2022. I was lucky enough to land at Verizon shortly after, and I've been loving it.
I hope and pray that doesn't come to an end on Friday. But if it does, I just want to thank everyone. These last couple of years have been, without a doubt, the best of my professional life. I've had a couple of great bosses, and coworkers that can only be described as awesome.
To those who get hit on Thursday, you and your loved ones will be in my thoughts.
To those that remain, I have nothing but the upmost confidence that you'll continue to knock it out of the park, each and every day.
Best of luck to all
Sad day for associates
Today's a sad day as more VSPd or ISPd associates walked out the door.
Some exhaled, took a deep breath and said "good riddance". Others started to cry as they're leaving a place they've called home and family for numerous years.
I'm sad to see the associates go as I know a few really wanted to stay. Also they put in a lot of hard work and dedication into their career.
Until next time, thank you for the training on the work, the ability to be open and communicate with your peers in the every day work.
You'll be truly missed.

One week until cuts
Starts in November. Best of luck everyone. It's tough out there.

Laid off in the US? What did your severance package look like?
As the title says, If you were laid off recently in the US (and my condolences if this was the case), what did your severance package look like and how did they handle healthcare insurance?
