Presidents cabinet / Diamond club …..

Makes me sick go go on LinkedIn .... and seeing sad-sack Verizon RIF victims “open to work” and not even able to get a G D interview …. intertwined with Verizon execs “Proud to have achieved Diamond Club in the 2025 Verizon Business Group Recognition Program” “Verizon is so good to me” “ Honored and thankful to be a 2025 Diamond 💎 Club Award winner with Verizon Business 🙌” ugh. Just ugh. Would be nice to have a g d job k thx.

PIPs Are Even Worse Now; Comp Discouraging

Hi,

Back in 2024, I wrote @OP+1tugivWq where I shared information on PIP changes at Google (as opposed to Alphabet). I felt it was appropriate to write an update for 2026.

First, let me be clear: This past GRAD results season appears to have been a massacre. In 2026, you got your bonus if you were still employed on March 1, 2026. Anecdotally, it seems February 2026 saw a surge of Googlers abruptly leave the company.

This is a continued trend from earlier. At one point, Google used to be more tolerant of employees who plausibly just had a poor performance review period. It is becoming more and more obvious that such tolerance is a thing of the past.

Okay, so you manage to get an S rating. In early March, you learn what your merit increase, bonus and equity refresh are. Based on pay comparison results and personally speaking with colleagues, it seems that the changes described in @OP+1jts0j95y (and kudos to that OP!) have been implemented: T got fantastic raises, O got good raises, S far smaller raises. Depending on where your old salary is in relation to the 2026 salary band for your level, your raise likely didn't beat inflation, if you got a raise at all. Yes, Virginia, there are definitely reports of Googlers who received $0 in base salary increases.

One thing I am trying to wrap my head around is the actual new PIP process. For those who went through it, can you reply with what you were offered? Were you even offered a chance to take a PIP? Did you get 60 days of garden leave? Can anyone say that my belief that those PIPed in 2026 didn't get a bonus is wrong?

Offshore referral bonuses are $20k

I was casually looking at the Optum internal job postings and I didn't filter to United States and out of curiosity I clicked on a couple offshore job postings. Guess what the referral bonus amounts I saw are $20,000 & $37,500.

It blew my mind. Stateside referral bonuses are usually $500 or $1000.

Geezus!

Exciting News. Too broke to recognize hard work

Team,

I’m excited to share an update on this year’s President’s Club recognition.

President’s Club celebrates the teammates who delivered the strongest revenue-impacting results across Optimum in 2025. These individuals represent the very best of our performance culture and embody what it means to deliver for our customers and our business.

As previously announced, and in support of aligning our resources with our enterprise priorities, we will not be hosting a President’s Club trip this year. That said, we want to ensure these achievements are celebrated in a meaningful way. For 2025, President’s Club winners will receive:

A monetary award
A commemorative President’s Club trophy
A President’s Club jacket

Winners will be notified tomorrow, and we look forward to recognizing their accomplishments.

While President’s Club highlights our top performers, our progress as a company is driven by the collective work happening across the organization every day. Supporting customers, solving problems, strengthening relationships, and driving results all contribute to our momentum as ONE Optimum.

Thank you for everything you do and for the commitment you bring to our customers and teams every day.

Colleen

Raises were pathetic and comical

Dell puts out an article stating how great they did the last year, and quarter - record breaking even! - and then turns around and gives a 126% IBP bonus modifier, and under 2% raises LOLOLOL???!!!

WTF is this bs?

In the 6 years I've been there I've never gotten below a 6% raise and wasn't expecting much this year simply because of the giant middle management reorg last year... I was not expecting a 1.72% at all, though. Englation is like 2.4 and Dell couldn't even give that much lol?

Farley in 2020 “…will work with urgency on…improving quality.

Here we are in 2026:

https://www.foxbusiness.com/technology/ford-deep-water-after-sweeping-recalls-hit-every-model-since-2020-one-exception

(Ford only built 1,350 of the one exception, unrecalled GTs.)

Did Farley miss any bonuses?

Farley in 2022: Ford F-150 Lightning has exceeded Ford’s expectations as 200,000+ customers lined up to reserve one… exceeded production capacity for the 2022 model year.

Ford sold 15,617 units of the F-150 Lightning in 2022.

Did Farley miss any bonuses?

Performance rating “rounded down” from a 2.5 to a 2 and now I was told I will get absolutely nothing for a bonus payout

I received a 2.5 performance rating that my manager told me “had to round down to a 2 due to a new policy”. Has anyone else been told about this “round down” policy? And then I was told I will not receive anything for a bonus payout because of my rating. I’ve been here for years and this is my first time ever getting a 2, so want to see if any of this sounds normal or if I should be taking to HR

Is your bonus amount viewed under SSIP contribution Bonus?

Hi there, I was following the email that said you can make changes to your bonus contribution as to where it will land cash or 401k and when I went to the site I could see a $$$ amount that I could select for cash or 401k, does that mean that is my bonus amount? It seems really low even though I exceeded last year so I am not sure if that is the correct amount or if I’m misunderstanding

Bonus

Did anyone else not get a bonus or just me? I was told its bc I didn’t make any extra contributions but I thought this was based on performance and meeting metrics. Bummer as this is what motivates me so now i’ll be doing the absolute bare minimum this company is draining and managers just come up with their own little rules. Band 1 employee
