Good luck to all, just got the boot on my end, strategic rep here
ESG layoff coming soon
This time is a big one.
Thursday Layoffs
surprised no one has posted here about it, but there’s for sure layoffs happening Thursday.
ESG layoffs coming soon ?
How do I escape from it? So that I can collect my RSUs - rest and vest. The best part of being in ESG is that I’m literally shaking my legs and doing nothing. My manager does the same.
ESG coffee talk
What are your thoughts on the latest ESG coffee talk? What’s our final path forward?
Trump H1B nuclear bo-b and its impact on Broadcom employees
Now that it will cost $100k per year to sponsor an h1b, how do you think this impacts our fellow foreigners working at broadcom? Are they cooked, finished or?
Will ESG have any promotions this year?
It’s already September, has anyone’s manager said anything about it?
Broadcom missed a huge opportunity... again!
Rumors have been circulating since last year and there were hints that Broadcom was talking with Intel about acquisition/partnership. Looks like Broadcom missed a huge opportunity as Nvidia is now partnered with Intel instead of them. How will this... — read more
ESG (Symantec + Carbon Black ) below the line of doom again
Why again ??????
Whay's going on with PSO in Broadcom?

Time to vote, do you think ESG (Symantec+CB) will be below the Line of Doom again?
What do you think ?
I’m part of the Symantec team at Yishun, Singapore; why am I not getting caught for not being in the office?
My usual routine is just badge-in in the morning and walk out of the building. It seems Broadcom doesn’t track when you’re leaving the office. That’s how we’re taking advantage of the attendance system. Are you guys pathetically staying in the... — read more
ESG division is moving out of Broadcom??
Can somebody please confirm this? Symantec and Carbon Black are performing badly ??
Why are CB and Symantec arguing?
Your divisions are dog sh-t. Always below the line of doom. LMAO 🤣 It's like losers arguing who the bigger loser is.
if the Carbon Black brand and technology are so remarkable, why wasn’t there a buyer?
Because they’re cr—py?
Carbon Black folks, are you guys doing good? We, Symantec, will consume you and your technology. Save yourself!
Don’t wait for another round of layoffs! Symantec is way superior than Carbon Black!
Broadcom "Merit" Raises
Were the raises Hock talked about a flat % to everyone below ICB6, or does it vary from person? I got a 2.5% and it's disappointing especially since Hock made it sound like it's gonna be something big.
Custom chips…
Seems Hock has cooled on custom chips in last call and shut someone down. Also rumours about 6month delays, the cost benefit trade off with customer chip not being so great in addition Google also partnering with Mediatek
Is everyone doing alright in ESG?
Day by day I’m feeling more anxious and worried about my future at Broadcom. Every morning I’m checking my email to see if I have been laid off. Are you guys feeling the same ?
Time to vote, do you think ESG (Symantec+CB) will be below the Line of Doom again?
To keep it simple, just reply: Yes or No It’s amusing to see ESG staying below the line of doom quarter after quarter. Relying heavily on aggregators to save the business, but it’s doing more damage.
Time is ticking for ESG — sales are down again, and Jason is scrambling to retain A-list customers.
But it may be too little, too late. Internally, whispers of restructuring and layoffs are growing louder. If ESG doesn’t turn things around this quarter, we might lose more than just customers Jason knows what that really means: ESG is no longer the... — read more
Imminent ESG layoff?
Sep 16.0 is out of the door. Will there be another round of layoffs?
Has anyone ever actually been fired for not being in office all day?
Does HR not track badge data?
Meanwhile I’m just resting and vesting
Hey ESG folks, working hard to stay relevant? Lol. Here at Symantec’s Singapore office, we’re just chilling and following the badge-in, badge-out policy. Some of us just tap our badge and head back home right away, while most don’t stick around after... — read more
Open Latter to ESG Jason
Agrigator’s model? Oh please, it’s just another fine addition to the BS Hall of Fame. Spoiler alert: they still can’t hang on to small or mid-sized accounts—renewals are as rare as a quiet gSpace thread. Rumor has it, more layoffs are on the... — read more

Does anyone else still have nothing to do?
I work in a sales support role (CPM) and have been fully expecting to get the axe and severance, but somehow am still here resting and vesting. Was looking forward to severance last round as I'm bored out of my mind, working maybe an hour a day, but... — read more
Broadcom announces $10B share buyback - great move
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/broadcom-announces-10-billion-share-202720941.html Forward PE ratio of 22 doesn’t give full picture. Price/CF is around 11, that’s extremely low for a company like Broadcom, despite all the tariff/trade war... — read more
I just shared with one of our investors that ESG-Symantec/CB was last in the line of doom chart.
He was clueless that the division was doing bad all this time. I hope he will question it in the next investor call.
