Horrible place with horrible managers

I'm overjoyed to be out of there. It is a horrible place with horrendous work culture and managers who'll do all they can to take credit for your work and set you up to fail in case they see you as a threat. There is an exodus of talent and if... — read more

How is that IPO looking?

Imagine ARM IPOd in 2021 instead of wasting their time on a clearly doomed NVIDIA acquisition. Masa is a master at losing billions.

With no vision expect another round of layoffs before ipo. Good luck. The company is starting to sink.

Arm IPO

Heard that iPO is still planned for March 2023. Mgt must living in utopia if they think that Arm should be valued at $60B given the market conditions. Also employees were offered fewer RSU shares then prior years. Company is so cheap.

Is there any meaningful innovation?

Does anyone believe Arm is innovating or just resting on its current v8 architecture (given the v9 architecture brings little or no value) and just raising its prices given its monopoly status in mobile, DTV, STB, etc? Intel seems to be investing... — read more

Too much stress

Time to move on

It took me less than a month to find a new job, even though I thought it wouldn't be so easy due to my age. I hope others have a similar experience with looking for a new job.

ARM will be much different after layoffs

I am definitely looking for a new job because I do not intend to stay here anymore. There are many other options, it is not very difficult to find another job if someone has a good skillset. I can't even imagine what this company will look like... — read more

I'm terrified of being affected

I'm 52 and I've heard horror stories about how hard it is to find a job in our field at my age. I've been working at Arm for more than 15 years and I thought I'd retire from here. The idea of starting over somewhere else is scary and I'm not looking... — read more

Enjoying the office?

The only reason the UK is in the office is because only one legal requirement has to be done face to face. Can you guess which one that is?
