I don’t care about the disclosure anymore

Became close to many here in 15 years. Cannot stress this enough - The company you think you know IS planning your “winter.” Prepare. Please prepare. Putting in notice this week. And it does not matter how well you’re doing your job.

With telco moves recently, can see stank doing larger cuts and then T puts in new CEO q1. All this in effort to make it look like they’re listening.

Winter is coming.


Layoffs in India

There’s a news article in India that talks about both SAP and Novo Nordisk cutting jobs.

For Novo, the reason is likely because India approved Ozempic (semaglutide) for adults with type 2 diabetes. For SAP, it’s the 1-2% cut to get rid of the dental plaque.

Can someone please share which teams are affected?

Very recently, CK lied about hiring more people in India to work on AI and now this. Can’t really trust the board’s words - I rather pay attention to their actions.

Wells Fargo Charlie and Opco Moving to West Palm Beach

Once Chainsaw Charkie took possession of the board he told his directs one down west Palm beach next year or you are gone. CRO Derek will do anything as he's close to firing he's yes. hR is a no CFO has other offers he's a no. COO mostly uses the jet to do personal self fulfillment he's a yes. CLO is a no Compliance is a no. IA is a No. And they want to move technology out of anywhere but Iselin NJ bc Bridgette wants it and she won't be forced to go. The CxOs were shocked and really none but Charlie want to go they will shut HY which they just moved into the entirety is poorly thought. So even if you are saf now next year is worse. My hope is to find any Job where I'm not treated like a baby given more work and leave. It's the first bank in 20 years where I've asked for more work and they won't give it. So I attend the meetings I have ideas for work one took and I'm dragging it out in case they lay me off in October they don't get the work product.


GT EMEA Layoffs

Regardless of how you think about whether we should have the GT EMEA group or they’re helpful, productive, etc, etc. this isn’t about it.

Yesterday I was taking to a teammate in there, and they told me the GM sent a video where he says they’re targeting to execute the layoffs around early to mid NOVEMBER. That’s almost 8 months after everything started and ~4 months after we had ours.

Can you imagine working that long knowing there’s something coming from across the globe to hit you? How on earth you get motivated to do your job? Your counterparts already moved on, got promoted, fired, lateral moves whatever. And you’re there reading that “EMEA is in a different timeline” sentence in every comms from the company (they told me this line is basically an internal joke over there).

Some people are guessing what’s gonna happen but others already know because they lost their counterparts on other goes, so the writing is in the wall.

I do have a lot of reservations about the EMEA team, but damn, Nike isn’t helping the cause here. Dragging for that long? Unfair is the nicest word I can think of.


Janitors laid off too?

Anyone else who has been required to come in lately notice how nasty the work spaces have gotten? In building 2 the break room is filled with dishes covered in days old food and the fridge smells like mold.

Desks are all strewn with trash and none of the computer peripherals work.

Bathroom smells like a babies diaper.

My college dorm was cleaner than this, anyone have any idea if they laid off the cleaning staff too?
