I heard rumors they are closing operations in China can anyone confirm this? Are they closing the Shanghai office?

The Shanghai team has been working for years on a project that has been deemed a national security matter, and it has been consistently swept under the rug by upper management. Sending it to another country considered more U.S.-friendly won’t change anything, as long as these jobs aren’t brought back to the United States.
Is it the whole office or just select teams?
I’ve heard the same. Word is they’re downsizing the China dev team and offering relocations to Singapore for the AI talent to avoid regulatory risks. Sad to see the Shanghai office go if it's true.
