Merry Christmas trolls!

My gift to the trolls who are allegedly still on the payroll and who have super important jobs with retention bonuses in the hundreds of thousands but who decide to spend their time posting negative comments on this board is a dose of cold hard truth:

Verizon lost 347,000 wireless postpaid customers up to Q3. T-Mobile had 4 million net adds and AT&T had roughly 1.2 million net adds in the same period.

The general consensus is that price hikes and high prices are driving customers to look for better deals. Customers accurately perceive that Verizon charges more for service that is no better than the competition’s. This has nothing to do with the rest of us being whiners or Debbie Downers or DEI or the other nonsense you’ve been spewing.

And finally you’re supposed to be doing more with less so stop spending time on this board and get back to work! Chop, chop! Dan Schulman’s minions are watching you!

Aero Olathe payroll error 12-12-25

Many employees got a email from payroll dept saying they were over paid. But yet , the email didn’t give the specific details where the error was. Email says to fill out Red ticket. No response from ask Red.
Here’s the funny part , if you don’t sign a document by Dec 17 agreeing to give it back. Honeywell will send it to a collection company.

Where is my paycheck?

How does a company the size of AT&T completely fu-k up the final compensation checks for the employees they just laid off? Overpayment, underpayment, it is complete chaos & they simply don't give a sh-t. It's the holiday season. Mortgage still has to get paid.

I received four separate pay stubs and none of them match my direct deposits.

Plus, my supervisor had no clue on process so I am getting requests to complete tasks that should have been done before they walked me out the door.

AT&T can't get anything right.

Minnesota Paid Leave

During open enrollment, the company stated that STD at 60% pay was provided at no cost to employee. With Minnesota Paid Leave, employees are now required to pay 0.44% for STD. This doesn’t seem accurate. The company should be paying the full 0.88% if STD 60% is provided at no cost to the employee.

Severance Payout date?

Does anyone know when the severance checks will be sent or direct deposited? I am trying to figure out that if my last day is 12/19 when will the checks or deposit be dated. Will it be dated 12/19/25. Or 4 weeks later so we get paid in January 2026? It’d be better federal tax wise to be paid in 2026, wouldn’t it? I just can’t tell by the wording in the severance documents. I’ll call them tomorrow, but wondered if anyone here had some insight.

Last Day on Payroll ----- 11/6/2025 ----- Let's share memories

Hey folks. Today is a sad day for the employees who are leaving the greatest company in America. I wish you all the best, and I am sure it would be difficult to find another company as employee centric as ATT. Please continue to use ATT products and services as we need OUR stock to be in the high 80's (minimum). Love ya'll.

When do you think will we get paid?

I was a part of the RIF that occurred at the end of September. I signed my severance agreement and then received an addendum saying I would not receive a lump sum, but would receive biweekly payments. Do you think this will occur on 10/17 or will I be waiting up to 60 days for payments?

Pay and timecards after layoff?

I'm incredibly frustrated. I got the news last Wed, but my "official" last day is the 15th and they said that's when I'll receive the termination letter...Very annoyed because my paycheck this week was half of what it should have been, since I was immediately locked out of the system and couldn't submit a timecard last week. Really frustrating when you have daycare, bills, and life to pay for! Has anyone gone through HR and gotten their time in so pay isn't disrupted? I should be on the books paid for up until 10/15. I'm just loathing having to jump through all the hoops to actually speak to someone in HR...getting a hold of an actual person is such a PITA

San Antonio surplus!

There’s some solid information that’s come to my desk about mass layoffs for San Antonio coming within the next 6 months. They will be consolidating to a “super center” and will be laying off people that are getting paid a higher salary than what new reps off the street get. There’s absolutely no benefit for the company to keep paying senior employees close to or over $40 an hour when new employees get well under $20 an hour to do the same work. The company is going to start hiring new reps and once they have a solid amount to maintain the call volumes, they will start weeding out the old employees. Stay safe and be prepared folks. CWA STRONG!

Don’t expect this to make sense

I’m willing to bet my paycheck that we will not lose bad performers, but some of our best people. They’ll grab onto this opportunity (read: excuse) to lay off people with higher pay (meaning, people with the most experience and knowledge who’ve been here a while) and replace them with cheaper hires. Sad but most likely true.

Hsa

Ok so I'm in severance after thankfully being offered the vrp. I just received a notice from fidelity that the took an overpayment from my hsa in the amount of 37.11. Call if you did not authorize this. Some to both fidelity and pay and benefits. Nobody can give me a straight answer. 2 tickets have been opened. That can't confirm an overpayment, don't know how much it is but feel they won't take any more money. Also stated it was an error that effected 24k employees. Ok, all of my hsa is pre tax $. My pre tax dollars. I have consistently had the same amount which I specified for 2025. First this is a violation of nys labor law. Gotta go call the department of labor now and file a formal complaint.
