Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

What's going on with the last RSU payout?

Got a paystub in the mail today showing one amount and a date of 1/27. Fidelity shows a different amount, looks like it's based on market price. Fidelity says Verizon hasn't released the funds yet.

They paid out based on the early day market price, but then the market bumped up by 13%. If we had been given the option to take the later price we could have made much more money. Anyway, it was free money and personally I am just glad to be getting clear of the company at this point, even if I am sc--wed over for a few k!

Check your Fidelity account again. We got paid on Monday.

Look for individual. That’s fat cash which is reported on your W2.

@OP It is disappointing. So, in the past, new Stock Together units were given beginning of March . Existing Stock Together RSUs have vested in March every Tuesday . If you were around since the program started, you got the money 3 Tuesdays in a row . For those of us in a RIF situation, our payouts are now … on Tuesdays in January. So there were 3 vestings , 2 in cash and the last one in Verizon Stock . That’s why it shows TOD account in Fidelity with “ money” in it , but if you look at the cash available for withdrawal it doesn’t show it . You’d have to sell the stock for the cash .
