Since this market closed on 3/31 I was wondering if they found jobs for the NCM’s and SW’s?

I worked at Q for 10.5 years. I have complained to HR about harassment from a colleague (not a manager). Seems like they did not investigate this. Last month they fired me along with other 45 IT people. Is it a retaliation?

Looks to be a well coordinated strategy to push earnings call to March 31. The drop in share prices is almost 15% now, wiping out any gains on ESPP.

This is as pathetic as it gets, no need to invest in ESPP going forward if this is how cheap this company is going to get to.

More for UHC but I wanted to know if anyone else got the ridiculous email about the “ Executive Complaints” email regarding appeals. For those not in the know basically if a Governor, share holder, state person or anyone else in the top 1% have UHC we are to work the case IMMEDIATELY and push it through and prioritize it above all the other cases to have a decision made ( and approved and paid for by UHG) within 24 hours. Must be nice to make more money than more than half the people at the company and demand a strict 24 hour turn around time while the disabled patient who actually needs care gets denied chemo therapy and their hospital stay because the company decided “ it wasn’t necessary”

"Grow up, get over it, baloney, you'll find another job!" Everyone's circumstances, obligations, etc., are very different. No one can know what someone might be facing in the news of a layoff or rebadge. If you disagree, say so, don't be a je-k about it.

Given the scale of the reductions, why does it appear that very few M5s were impacted and almost no M6s or M7s were affected? The distribution across levels seems disproportionate.

I know everyone has their own opinions on wfh, hybrid and coffee swipers but this isn’t the post for opinions. A few people I know had been swiping then working from home and the manager was aware. They are now going in for the full 3 days but have not received anything from WPE. Are people only being fired at certain sites? Can anyone confirm this is happening in the GA or FL offices? I just joined at a Randstad/Cella consultant just a week ago and was told yesterday that they will be cutting some of their staff. Is there any truth to this? I wasn't sure if this is normal or not but I just got here.

Say what you want, but I like that we got a heads-up about these cuts, even if it caused weeks (months) of stress. I got lucky and am still here, but if I had been affected, at least I would’ve been ready. If it had been a sudden announcement, I’m pretty sure that wouldn’t have been the case.

After the telco confirmed 209 jobs would be slashed from its AI joint venture with Accenture, Telstra workers said they had also been notified of more than 400 other potential job losses.

When is next round planned and how big will it be

SAP is under a lot of financial pressure and the only way to fix this is by mass layoffs. Basically, we are investing too much in stock buybacks, AI (data centers and development) and bonuses. The executive board wants to axe the last one and increased the first two. So the only solution is layoffs. Oracle fired 20000 people yesterday and SAP is supposed to follow suit to "remain at a competitive advantage". The new works council is already in negotiations regarding this. SAP wants 12000 layoffs worldwide of which 5000 will be in European hubs. But this is kept hush hush. I feel like speaking out because I am tired of these bull$hit games. The biggest problem here is middle management and executives who want more bonuses for themselves and want to use third party contractors instead of full-time employees. They are the ones pushing for the layoffs. So don't listen to your area executives when they say that times are rough. If SAP didn't insist on share buybacks or invest too much in AI that is not producing any results for customers, we would not have such a deficit. This narrative needs to be fixed. I am tired of our CEO, CFO, executives and middle management saying that employee salaries and bonuses are the third highest expense for SAP. That is a good thing and not a bad thing. Employees create and sell good software not AI. Some of the managers pushing for this already have salaries of more than €200000 per year and still want more. Say no to layoffs. Talk back to your manager if they want to give you a bad rating. If you have done the work, you should get good performance ratings. They want to use bad performance ratings to fire employees or pay them less.

It does seem like, on average, older more experienced people were laid off. Anyone else notice this? Our group is half gone, and it's ALL the older folks - I'm not talking really old, just over 40.

I noticed my slack errored out 2 or 3 times and gave a glitchy alphanumeric coded white screen the day before the axe came down. I wondered if the system was doing a dry run and if anyone else noticed the same thing? First time it ever did that and today it wouldn't open at all.
