Curious, anyone now hoping for je?

At this point I find myself surprisingly hoping to be on this je list, and wonder how many others have gotten here? I wasn’t feeling this way and know it’s a bad market apparently but some severance and time to pull myself out of the anxiety I now live in daily and sounds actually like the better option. Worried about further decline after more loss if I am still here, certainly not going to get better any time soon and will just mean more work for the rest of us, at the end of the day I don’t get an email I think I’ll have more envy than survivors guilt. Sad it’s gotten here used to love my job my company.

This is the first time in a LONG time where nobody is talking about layoff rumors...

Which is interesting...

Considering the fact that there are typically a LOT of layoff "rumors" in this forum fairly consistently. Especially in the August/September and February times when dell has historically laid off large bulks of folks.

Yes, they layoff year round but we all know that already. I'm sure some orgs/groups are or have been hit but at a far smaller scale than typical - at least this time of year anyways.

I have to wonder if they have finally hit their "headcount" number and the large layoffs are finally done...

Or, maybe because Project Maveric is failing and was pushed back a quarter - which 100% will be pushed back again LOL

Or, maybe because Project Casino is argueably MORE important than maverick... Casino is not NDA but trust me, it's IMPO is far more vital than Maverick. Maverick is important but I think they are realizing that it's already failing lol...

Or, is it because the stock market is doing well or stock prices are better? idfk

It's just interesting how nobody is reporting in about layoffs right now.

So many rumors, and no layoffs

There seem to constantly be rumors going around about layoffs but how long it's been since we actually had a confirmed round? It's been a while. I understand being scared and worried but I just wish we could get some concrete info instead of people just fear-guessing.

No layoffs this month huh?

I'm honestly curious as to why becuase it's always started around this time for the last like 8 years; but haven't heard of any groups being hit hard. I mean yeah, layoffs are a constant thing at Dell but I'm talking about the "big" layoffs they have twice a year. One of which should have already started by now..

Wayne job change e-mail.

I’m just going to say it.

There’s talk about job changes and possible layoffs on the 19th, and the sudden shift in communication lately doesn’t feel normal. When leadership starts moving differently, there’s always a reason.

So I’ll ask what others may be thinking but aren’t saying — what do you know?

Have you seen the signs before? The random one-on-ones, increased leadership visibility, vague messaging, restructuring language, or sudden urgency?

For those who have been laid off before, what were the red flags you ignored — or only understood after the fact?

Let’s be honest. Companies rarely warn you. They reposition, they stay quiet, and then they act.

This isn’t about spreading rumors. It’s about recognizing patterns and being prepared instead of blindsided.

If you know something, saw something, or experienced this before, say it. Silence only protects the company, not the people.

Are there actually any layoffs?

All these posts have been about the sales compensation plans and RTO.

Or pips.

Are there any actual layoffs that happened for the beginning of the year? Because historically there’s always been some big layoffs in February and August.

Are they not doing actual layoffs anymore so that they don’t have to pay severance? Are they just hoping that people quit after not accepting their sales quotas and not achieving their PIP?
