A $300M reorg charge will be taken. I take it this is for more than just the distribution center closures that were announced.
Nike stock hits 55. Down $7 YTD
How do we keep haw a declining stock prices. All my ESPP is worth nothing. Putting money on my bank account at 0% would be worth more
ITC
Ship all tech to ITC that’s fine but don’t leave me at PHK. ITC is not comfortable talking to the biz or leaders so unless you put it all in their hands, they will defer to those left at PHK. Has to be all or nothing or you have a few at PHK doing... — read more
How do you actually focus at work when layoffs are coming and leadership has checked out?
Morale is in the gutter, and leadership clearly doesn’t care about keeping people motivated. It’s ki-ling my ability to concentrate. Everything feels pointless when your work could vanish any day. For anyone who’s been through this: • How do you... — read more
Are layoffs negatively impacting NKE? Don’t think so.
I know there’s a lot of frustration about the layoffs at Nike Corporate, EHQ Tech, and recently Converse, and I’m hearing there may be another one coming in Tech. Layoffs are always tough on people. But an honest question after 3000+ roles were... — read more
Why do we keep guessing when the next layoffs will hit?
After the last round of cuts and reorganization, which ultimately led nowhere, I've started viewing this job as temporary. I'm trying to build up my savings so that if my number is called, that buffer plus severance will give me some runway. I'm also... — read more
Will we still have all 6 GT locations after reorg?
GT has 6 locations: PHK, EHQ, ITC, GC, ATC, PTC. Will they all remain after the reorg? For long time, recrutment has been limited to ITC… and probably one site per US, Europe, Asia will be enough.
Why nothing gets done
I’ve been here long enough to see the pattern clearly, where we start projects with great enthusiasm, teams form, plans get made, and work begins with real momentum. Then a few months in someone in leadership reads an article or hears a new buzzword... — read more
Nike stock is down 187%
I can’t believe how big of a hit they took!
Burned out but stuck
I've become one of the twenty percent who carries the load and I'm now thoroughly exhausted. The other eighty percent show up, do the minimum, and clock out. I work late, fix problems, keep things running. I want to leave but I've got too much built... — read more
Air MI officially a dumpster fire
The last couple of years under the current regime has been a disaster the current "leadership" of AS, MC and CH has run this business into the ground
Don't think being a good performer will save you
It doesn't matter in the end. If your number's up, you're gone, and the only reason is the bottom line. Don't ki-l yourself trying to prove your worth. You'll just regret the wasted effort later. Nobody's indispensable to leadership, especially when... — read more
Delay in recent offers
Curious does anyone have any context why there is a delay on any job offers from the recent jobs posting? Many have slowed down after final interviews.
How much was severance last time?
Heard it’s calculated on years of service.
Candidate for layoffs
Fire the tech mod and other creatures that only increase bureaucracy and create the appearance of savings.

Nike layoffs in the news
https://www.reuters.com/sustainability/sustainable-finance-reporting/nike-records-300-million-restructuring-charges-after-recent-layoffs-2026-03-05/ 300$ million sounds like a really high number and not adequately explained by recent Converse and DC... — read more

Downvote for no. Upvote for yes.
What is Nike planning for Converse?
What is Nike planning for Converse? Over a hundred people laid off a month ago and technology cut 2/3 of staff. Moving it all to Beaverton?
Why did they move earnings?
The call was scheduled for the 19th but it's the 31st now. Anything to do with layoffs?
Oh AB
Meeting- So no mention of serving the athlete. Key focus is serving the biz. The biz often doesn’t think big picture or with logic. Not to mention shipping jobs to ITC means a 12 hour time difference. Biz never works outside of 8-4 pst. ITC... — read more
CS and APLA, APLA and CS
APLA is nothing without CS. This is why I'm writing the appeal the decision made up above that CS moves to Greater China which is not a good idea. CS needs to stay in APLA at least until it's broken up. GC needs a local to the Chinese market.
Can we go back in time?
Remember when we had good pay, solid benefits, and you could move up without nepotism or a-s-kissing? When having Nike on your resume was an asset? Can we go back to those times? I miss liking my job. I truly do.
GaME Engineering Leaders
Haven’t seen anything remotely good. Can only imaging they will be impacted in the next round.
Leadership is the weak link at Nike.
There is no reason to try harder. If you see your leadership coasting… coast harder. If you see your leadership failing to make a decision… stall on decision making. If you see your leadership throwing their peers under the bus… do the same with... — read more
Dad shoes
Our highly paid creatives couldn’t anticipate the 80’s and 90’s teen loyalists would soon be middle aged and market a dad shoe to them before new balance did? For Christ’s sake, get a clue.

Tech PMO
Heard Technical Program/Product Management Org is going to be heavily impacted this time. Is this true? Any insights?
Let’s be real….
We can do tech layoffs, that’s fine. Tech is too bloated. Unfortunately that’s not going to fix Nike. We need some hot product and strong marketing. Until that happens, nothing even begins to get better. Ugly shoes with ba--s on the bottom or... — read more
I have 3 jobs. In Tech
And I still out-perform my ‘coworkers’. And we’re surprised about layoffs?
I've made my peace with it
Which means I don't care about layoffs, reorgs, or anything else here. Paycheck until I'm gone, that's the extent of my commitment. Leadership clearly isn't invested in turning this around. So I expect nothing, and I care even less.
GAME tech reorg?
9am meeting was just put on the calendar for tomorrow. How bad do we think the cuts are going to be?
Nike stock value
