GO

Yep. Definitely laying people off at GO. I got the meeting at 11 and was informed my team was safe.

Opinions on the "Top of the Hour Conditioning" tasks?

I personally find them to be a total waste of time and no one should be told how to do their jobs if they already knew how to do them to begin with, I also feel these tasks make it harder rather than easier for us employees to get our work done.

Did I get written up for this incident?

One time at Kroger my department manager had me sign a form stating I could be subjected to termination if the cart straps keep breaking yet I wasn't the one who was breaking them, you didn't dare question the situation as my manager will feel... — read more

I’m beyond exhausted

Long days, no real breaks, schedules that make no sense. Just grind. Sleep? Maybe four hours if I’m lucky. Feels like we’re just bodies filling gaps, not people with lives. We’re constantly understaffed, and no one in charge seems to care. This isn’t... — read more

Kroger su-ks

Kroger corporate, have you EVER visited your stores? I mean without having a store to store hotline letting other stores k own you are coming?? I am a customer, not an employee, but your stores su-k. SCO is a joke, always breaking down, holding... — read more

Kroger employees

I'm a vendor and I go into several Kroger stores. This customer that's what we call our stores we go to is one of the most miserable places any of us have to go to. HEB is by far the best customer we have. First of all, they treat us like we're... — read more

End of the Portland office

With over 1 Billion spent on a failed merger, I overheard a conversation this week about potentially moving all General Merchandise operations to Ohio. This would effectively close the Portland office and unfortunately mean hundreds of us out of work... — read more

KTD gutted

Lots of good FTE and contractors let go from all over the place. Teams merging and being dissolved.

More Layoffs Announced 2/13

There’s been a re-org for FTEs and contractors will be let go as well. Source: My husband is on a team that received the news from their manager today.

Now we are going to the office 4 days a week?!

What’s going on? Why are we now required to be in the office 4 days a week? What will leadership do to help with this as it’s basically a demotion. We aren’t getting cost of living wages, the Fred Meyer office as no food or coffee options and the... — read more

Kroger Layoffs 2025

Is this going to be an interesting year as it relates to Kroger layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

New "dynamic pricing"

Whose brilliant idea was this? If they wanted to find a way to pi-s off customers, the general public, AND legislators, then job well done! There's no way this can end badly for the company. None at all. /sarcasm This company is run by complete and... — read more

Kroger Technology merger restructuring

Welp we just got our "every 3-year" layoff/restructuring announcement in relation to the Albertsons merger. This one sounds very similar to Digital Transformation in 2019. They are performing talent evaluations and "get to know you meetings". Lots of... — read more

Kroger lost all employee respect

I'm so happy I'll be gone from here soon. I don't want to work for a company that treats its employees like cr-p and expects loyalty in return. Sc--w that.

Pharmacy layoffs coming

Return to office = layoffs

Make no mistake, the Feb 2024 return to office is a way for Kroger to pay off employees without severance.

This company is crooked

Raising prices and having record profits and expanding while people cannot even afford to eat. I don’t work here just wanted to say **** this corporation that I no longer shop at (or any of the related brands) this is a monopoly.
