Kroger charging 10 dollars to access W-2

They're charging 10 dollars for those they laid to access their W-2's. I guess they might profit off the people they demoted to customers.

Here are the key details regarding accessing your Kroger W-2:
Fees for Former Employees: Some former employees have reported being charged fees (e.g., ~$10) to access past W-2s through the "Paperless Employee" site.
Official Channels (Free Options):
Current Employees: Can typically access W-2s for free via the MyInfo portal, often found under "My Tax Forms".
Former Employees: Should try to use the MyTaxForm.com portal, which is often used by large retailers.
IRS Tax Transcripts: If you are unable to access your W-2 through employer systems without paying a fee, you can request a wage and income transcript from the IRS for free.

@OP That's BS. A company can not withhold tax forms from a former employee in anticipation of payment. Munchausen syndrome at work.
