Corporate Risk Structure: Wells Fargo vs. JPMorgan?

For those familiar with both organizations, how does the Corporate Risk structure at JPMorgan Chase differ from Wells Fargo today? There have been some mentions of aligning more closely with how organizations like JPMC structure their risk functions. Curious if anyone has visibility into what that could look like in practice.

Genuinely curious. Is anyone actually using AI agents in their day-to-day work?

No need to give specifics, but I am just curious about everyone's experience with AI outside of conversational chat, so I'm not talking about prompting Copilot to help with summarizing stuff, helping debug a coding problem, or writing user stories... I mean like actually using Copilot agents to streamline tasks, etc.. I've found that in all the cases where we've tried to chase down AI tools or agents, all the ideas have failed to be implemented properly or are still ongoing, but not very hopeful about the end result.

I'm not anti-AI because I know that Copilot chat can be helpful, but when we get a push to add AI in everything, it's like we always go towards the conversational chat components and not in the other direction of actually innovative solutions like agents, etc. I am open to learning more since this seems to be the future, but I just haven't seen the return on investment from my perspective.


Just why?

Why would a store hire a Fine Jewelry Manager without a staff? ( team store) Or, is it so they can put out all the accessories plus handbags? What a royal title without clout.


Can someone please sum it up?

I read so many posts here and still have some questions…

  1. Those that were riffed were given until June 30th to work and then get severance package.
  2. Those that were rebadged have 12 months contract?
  3. Does the pay remain the same?
  4. Do you keep the same insurance?
  5. Do you keep vacation/sick time?
  6. If you decline to be rebadged, FIS will take that as voluntary resignation so no severance package…when do they consider the last day?

Did Mike Wirth lose his soul before or after becoming CEO? Or was it just traded in for stock options? Asking for everyone currently dealing with the fallout of his 'leadership'. When did he make the deal with the bad dude downstairs?

Does any one going against Oracle for Class Action case ? I am interested in Joining/filing

Tmo vs oracle method

Would you rather a mass email letting you know you’re laid off, or a scripted meeting from your manager or director? I honestly rather have an email at this point. Cold blooded either way, but much less awkward IMO.

Is seek of legal advice

I was let go Nov 6th, 2024. I was told I would get a severnce package upon signing the termination agreement, which was to include any sales comp for deals made prior my termination that processes after my termination.
I made significant deals, so I signed Nov 7th, 2024.
The amount owed to me was held until March 31st, 2026.
Avaya tells me its not thier problem because they terminate the HR Employee handling my file shortly after they terminated me, so they had no record I signed.
Many of you here saw that email from Avaya HR, as I posted it here on this site.

The Layoff removed that post without my concent. I would like to know why?

In any case, the laws in my Country are clear. It is not legal for an employer to withhold payment legally owed to an employee, if witheld, the employer is requied to pay daily interest for on the amount owed.

Since I signed in November of 2024, I am legally entitled to interst daily from November 7th, 2024 to March 31st 2026.
The layoff may be liable for interference in this matter.

Avaya has stated in an email to me, that it is not thier policy to pay this interest.

I have advised them that they are legally obligated to pay it. Kindly asked them to reconsider.

Seeking legal advice.


FB vs JD

Don't love either of them but I wonder how it rubs FB whenever JD is quoted in the media as an expert? Mr. D is constantly in news feeds. Mr. B more so for negative things.


Why all of the callous comments?

Literally thousands of people worldwide have had their lives upended in the past few weeks because of the decisions made by Oracle yet their seems to be an endless flow of really insensitive and offensive comments being posted. Oracle's actions speak to the character of the corporation but the callous behavior of some of the anonymous comments really speaks to the dismal state of society... what is worse is that this isn't even close to the the most atrocious things that are happening to people on this planet... we are in trouble!

The Education Management Team is manipulating instructor time clock punches in order to turn a buck! Who do we speak with about this? They are manipulating overtime hours and making them disappear. I know HR is in it for the company and can’t be trusted.
