Not sure what groups are impacted. But do know that a coworker on the Retail team under Lau send an email to HR requesting a package when the next round hits and he was told Tuesday 3/24 will be the day.

There has been whispers for the last 18 months of at least one of the Irish sites closing to cut costs. But only one of them is actually owned (Limerick) and Cork still has manufacturing which leaves Dublin on the cutting block perhaps. Anyone else heard similar?

L1 and L2 hiring freeze while ATS and other organizations assess the impact of AI and determine why we have 40,000 workers more than Verizon. In my opinion, the big one is coming this summer.

They did pilot layoff on Tuesday on OCI support organisation, and that's it.. radio silence... They are rumours by end of March... Does management spread this rumor.. or directors spreading this rumor... The wait is ki-ling... Constant thinking... I may get diabetes or what...

Will Optum Advisory be impacted by the 04/30 layoff cycle? Seems like we have dodged many cycles with minimal impact as we are most of the time pure profit, except people who are on the bench, so they are typically the ones cut if OA does have impact. Any insight for 04/30 cycle?

Has anyone else noticed a growing pattern / trend with Dell layoffs where "someone" will "leak" information about a particular group or org's upcoming layoffs, but layoffs are not for months out. Then, the company will do everything in its power to make their lives a living he-l so they quit on their own before their slated layoff time.

I've seen this pattern over and over now. Pretty slimy way to run a business. The forced attrition has gotten out of control.

In previous companies I've worked at, the direct mgr does the layoff but from what I see in OT it's the VP who does the lay off ?

I'm hearing all Tech will wfh next week, I'm hearing about a 'tsunami of layoffs', I'm hearing of mass debandings, I'm hearing about layoff percentages I don't even want to repeat.

I am hearing that there will be more layoffs on the 23rd. Some loud mouth that sits near me keeps bragging about how they are supposed to be quite. I guess he feels like one of the cool kids because they are in the loop.

A lot of rumors have been flying around the office lately, though nothing sounds substantiated. I just can't figure out why layoffs talk suddenly picked up. If anyone knows anything, please share.

That’s the rumor swirling. Allegedly Wednesday. Does anyone know who exactly will be affected? I remember an article from February saying that 15% of the staff will be cut in the spring so I’m guessing that’s now.

Anything new on April layoffs at Western Union? There were so many rumors flying around, and then total silence. Not sure what to make of it.

It's sad that layoffs have become so commonplace that even this soon after the last round I'm already worried about what's coming next. At this point, the only way to regain some semblance of job security probably means finding a job somewhere else. This place has outlived its purpose.

It is no secret that Bank will have another round of layoffs in Q2, just by everything I’ve been hearing, end of April seems to be the target date.

Reading previous post on what happened back on Jan 28, don’t be in office that day, as you will be escorted out and laptop confiscated. Start taking certification courses NOW, because you won’t have access to Guild to register for more during the 60 day window. If you register now and do get impacted in a few weeks, USAA still has to cover the course(s). Send all your accomplishments, year end reviews and resume to your personal email, redeem all your recognition points because again you won’t have access to do it once they take your laptop.

More importantly, take your PTO, but use the floating holiday and volunteer hours first, as those are not paid out to you. With phase 2 of the “how we work” bank reorg, look to the person to your left and right, very good chance one of them will be impacted in the next 6-8 weeks.
