Anyone ever see someone get laid off and was rehired after a certain amount of time when they decided to reapply?

So , we are confirmed to have a layoff by looking at Satish email. I am confused with his email whether he is leaving ally or moving to a different role.

Donna Hart left Ally in January and she was CIO over IPRM. Now Satish is leaving CIO over Tech. What are your thoughts?

Rumors are flying about cuts tied to the reorg, but I've got nothing solid. Some layoffs make sense with any reorganization, but folks are talking about a big round. If you know something real, please share.

Obviously, it's highly unlikely we lose any directors/managers/seniors if we have any layoffs on the horizon. How do they choose who to get rid of? Lowest paid?

everytime I log onto linkedin basically every other post is someone posting something about being laid off and its terrible. if we get a roughly 30 percent unemployment rate like many people think what does that mean for our own jobs

There have been a few posts or comments saying there will definitely be layoffs next week. Does anyone know the percentage of people being let go? 20 percent? 50? More?

How do layoffs be here? Do we got anything in our power to prevent them or are they just random as he-l? Is there a way to know whether we on the layoff list to save ourselves before they happen? Does our manager know yet if we gonna get cut

With the Org changes , February is the payout.. rumors being spread that there will be something happening in March again 😞.. hope it stays as rumor , but its been a regular thing now.
