As a long time UMAC, I can truly say since this centralization my mental health has taken a sharp decline! The new processes that change every 15 minutes, it’s just too much!

If the bosses read this forum, they'd panic
The execs should really take a look at all the posts on here. Half of us are talking about how much we hate it and are looking for other jobs. When your entire workforce is trying to escape, that's a pretty big sign you're doing something wrong.
Rationally, I know I should want to survive the coming layoffs
It's brutally hard to find another job. I've been trying for a while and can attest to that. With most of us constantly on the brink of financial ruin and costs only rising, the fear is real. But this time, I'm not anxious about losing my job. I'm just exhausted and completely burnt out. It's probably time to move on, and if they cut the cord, it would almost make it easier.
I'm reaching a breaking point
I know quitting without something lined up would blow back on me, but staying in this work environment is wearing me down piece by piece. The manager who replaced one of the best bosses I ever had, before he was cut, is wildly incompetent and masks it by yelling at everyone over everything. I’m beyond tired of it.
Genuine morale check
I have to ask, with everything that's been happening, is there anyone left at this company who is actually happy with their job and optimistic about the future? I'm struggling to find anyone.
The burnout is complete
The non-stop layoff drama has led to my complete emotional detachment. I don't want to lose my job, but I also can't bring myself to feel the stress I used to. It's not normal, but it's a strange kind of relief.
Retail branches closing or not?
What’s the deal with retail branches with this winter storm. I’m in an area that got over 12” of snow. And then freezing rain on top of it. Are they going to make us to go in? Who is coming out of their houses in this subzero weather to the branch?
The 10 best US companies to work for in 2026, according to new Glassdoor report (and IBM isn't in the list)
Of course, under Alvind and the Pipmunks, IBM didn't make the top 10 companies to work for in the US, but maybe they were #1 in India for Alvind's National Vindaloo Curry Toilet Infrastructure. And don't forget the Krabanaugh contributions.

One one to sum up Citi
Michael Jackson- they don't really care about us
This sums up citi and all the posts regarding this.
Act accordingly, decline work without training, refuse to chime in for other people's role( you will be graded for their work while they skate away from work), clock in and out 8 hours, use your vacation and sick, take care of health, when it gets hard take mental health day and don't compensate by working hard rest of the week. Do not disclose your medical problems no one is your friend, NO ONE. Do not train anyone on your team for anything. This includes anyone in lower cost locations. For whatever reasons you have to stay at shitibank, play the game but sometimes know this isn't life and doesn't define you.
Shitibank has Eric trumps account since Oct 2025 and explains the Dec 2025 partial lift. You can count on consent order going away very soon. It's all a facade anyways. If you are in this role delay, stall and get out as fast as you can.
F shitibank!
Fear and loathing
I can't deal with going to work in Dell tomorrow morning. So depressed.
Im a tech
I got to say Uniti and Windstream has been great to me. I love this company. The people, the employees. All of it. Customers love me when I show up and tell them they don’t need to switch to Fiber and can stay on copper. They give me a hug. I love you all.
Is the skunkworks a little demoralizing
They form a new skunkworks that’s secret and isolated from Ford.
They hire alumni from Apple and Tesla.
This is going to be the bright future of Ford.
I mean what does this say about Ford employees? Keep up the good work, and meanwhile we are hiring some smart people to build the next generation tech.
Not getting due credit for your work
Does anyone feel like they have been working hard , working late night to do something, and yet not getting enough credit or praise or call out for doing it?
And the manager or team lead favoring certain people and being biased ?
This crumbles the confidence and just gives constant anxiety to prove yourself, work longer hours and constantly doubting yourself.
Technology is gonna suffer
In speaking to others during my lunchtime, we all agree that technology is going to be the biggest area that will suffer. And when technology suffers, the customer base will suffer. No one, and I mean no one is going to bend over backwards, work evenings, or weekends anymore without work/life balance. A lot of good talent will leave. And remember, even though we are replaceable, good talent takes time to find and bring up to speed. We are talking months! Who is going to pick up the slack? The managers? They can only do so much. They are already over stressed and overworked putting in so many hours.
The worst thing as well, is the media will get wind of this confirmation of a 5 day return to work requirement and PNC’s reputation is going to suffer. Mark my words. It will make them look bad. Why couldn’t we just be a leader in the banking industry and keep it at 3 days a week? Why do we always end up being the follower? Can you imagine the talent we could bring in with a good life/balance plan? At the end of the day, when employees are happy, they tend to go above and beyond for their employer. That’s a known fact.
Happy list
Waters come in 75th on the happy place to work list and that's only in Boston.in ireland it didn't even make the list.
Best place to work … in India
The pulse page shows that Carelon global solutions is one of the best place to work in India and Southeast Asia. Totally giving a middle finger to all those that got riffed to offshore work.
New Career?
Recently things have been looking up for me. I had a bad run at Oracle. Was sabotaged along the way and eventually left when others were getting credit for the work I did. It's a bad place to work.
After leaving I had time to think about what had happened at the company. I posted several things on this site thinking that I might be able to warn some people who were still there. Perhaps some of that got through, perhaps not. It's difficult to tell what the result of that was, except for the harassment that ensued from trying to warn others.
But, I find that that harassment has a silver lining to it. I have learned a great deal about what was done to me and also about the people who were involved in it all. Over the years I have learned more about others who are associates of those people.
I have also learned a great deal about how they manipulate people, both at the company and elsewhere.
And in the past few years, after leaving the company, I have found that there are others, probably not in their network, who are using the same set of skills as they were. It has become very easy for me to pick these people out, as they all look for the same things and all function in the same way. Trivial really, once you know what they do and what to look for.
I have done some studying of my own, lots of DVDs, etc on the subject are available. I find it very interesting, although, I probably would not have pursued it without the steady stream of harassment that has come my way.
Recently, I have created a list of others that I have found with similar skills. Seems like everyone, really. It's really an epidemic although most people are unaware of it.
I have decided to pursue my list.
I am hoping that as I produce information on each one in turn, I will be able to share that with authorities and hopefully gain the trust of authorities with my skill in exposing those who manipulate people in this way.
I think it can be done, and really, these people have left me no other alternative.
I start this week and am really looking forward to it. No money involved, but there is knowing that I am helping others and that is very important to me. Maybe a couple of books might come out of it? Who knows?
Good luck to everyone.
Star rewards changing for employees ?
Retire here
Can some one tell me if employees / retirees are no longer eligible for Star reward status ? I spent over the amount in 2025 to be platinum but I just noticed on my statement it says I need to spend 1200 more to maintain my status after 2/28/2026 . Did they change how it works for employees ? Or just the calendar of purchases made to move up a status ? I’m so confused ! As retirees we don’t get any information about changes or extra discount have to rely on here to get that info ! Thank u in advance!
I just dont care anymore
Moral is so bad and everyone is so miserable that i fight to log on and stay on daily. This has to be intentional by these mo--ns running this place into the ground. Holding out as long as possible because of the pay and the fact so many are struggling to fund other jobs but dont know how much longer i can do this
The only laughter is about how bad things are
You can tell the state of a workplace by what people joke about. The only time you hear people genuinely laugh or smile is when someone's making a joke about how terrible things are or complaining about management. It's the one form of morale we have left, I guess.
Employees happiness = profitability
I read a Forbes article on employee happiness and company performance, and it feels very relevant right now.
The research is clear that companies with higher employee happiness consistently perform better over time. Not just culturally, but financially. Engagement, innovation, productivity, retention, and customer experience all improve when people feel supported, trusted, and connected to the work.
Right now, it’s hard to ignore that employee morale at Nike feels low. At the same time, the stock price reflects broader challenges and uncertainty. Those two things are often more connected than we want to admit.
The article reinforces that compensation and perks aren’t the main drivers. Leadership trust, clarity, purpose, growth, and how decisions are communicated matter far more. This feels like an important moment for EH and TH to seriously reflect on how employee experience is being navigated and how it’s landing across the organization.
Nike has always been strongest when people believed in where we were going and felt proud of how we got there. Rebuilding morale isn’t just about culture, it’s about long-term performance.

Drag
Wow man, what a drag.
The fear of constant layoffs needs to stop
How can a company genuinely expect employees to be happy, productive, or incintivised to do a good job when nobody feels safe from having their job taken away at a moments notice? Or when promotions are MIA and raises are comical?
Let's all hope ...
That Brian gets another 28% raise. He really needs it. I'm cool with being overlooked for any merit increases or standard of living adjustment. Brian's well being means too much for me to accept anything less for him.
I'm going to be optimistic this year
I'm going to believe that we'll be spared layoffs at least for the first quarter of the year. It's better than being convinced otherwise and stressing over it nonstop. They'll most likely prove me wrong, but you never know. A little positivity never ki-led anybody.
New year
New year but same old stuff
Hope everyone has a wonderful year
And the sun shines again on all of us
New year, same anxieties
Anyone else feeling super anxious to see how this RTO will play out? I almost feel nauseous with it all
I wish you all a Happy New Year
May we all be happier, luckier, and less stressed. And may everyone who lost their job find something new and better soon.
Joining Qualcomm soon
How do y'all deal with 5 day RTO, it must be brutal , no? I know qualcomm isn't the place for "work life balance" which is what I always hear from my peers at QCOM , but do y'all get extra holidays or something? Did they increase the leaves after the 5 day rto change ?
A Lost Culture - How We Win
Everyone’s miserable at Dell. They come here looking for meaning, but all they find is confirmation of how trapped they are.
I left ATT 3 years ago and have tripled
My net worth since leaving. Frees your mind up to opportunity when leaving that soul crushing environment. Seems to attract nothing but Bill Lumberghs who get promoted. Seriously ATT Management are drips and blockheads.
Done with this place, off to greener pastures
Just joking. It is not even equal pay and benefits. But it is a much smaller, cozier company, the people in charge seem decent, overtime is not really a thing (I made sure to check), they are not doing constant layoffs, and it is an entirely different role. A change of scenery and pace is more than welcome, and I wanted to get ahead of what is inevitably coming - more cuts, offshoring, and mind-numbing stress. It’s a win in my book. Wishing you all the best.
ANY BONUS ?
Any Bonus?
Fidelity the generous
Just submitted my charitable donation matching request to Fidelity Foundation and happy to see my humble donation to my cause was tripled! Yes, Fidelity match 200% of your charitable donation.
2025 was a good year for me, a foot soldier who worked honestly as always and was rewarded fairly by Fidelity. I wish those middle managements who leech off my work and those coasters who steal their salary from Fidelity be cut off in 2026, so Fidelity becomes a even better work place!
Burnt out
Is it normal to feel completely and utterly burnt out, to the point where even the thought of work gives you anxiety? I can’t find another job, I can’t afford to just quit, so I’m stuck, and I don’t know how much more of this I can take without seriously damaging my mental health.
Is anybody else dreading going into work?
Being away for a week only made me realize how miserable I am at Dell. I know I'll be tripling my job search efforts in the new year.
