Dental and Disability Products - Future Outlook?

What do you all think is the future of Dental and Disability products?
Have heard about old, clunky legacy systems that are complicated/messy, negative impacts of offshoring, disorganized teams, etc.
Those are core products within USB and worried if they aren't performing well, how that would impact job security...
Also know know how Group Life is doing?

More layoffs happened this week (Dental)

In the U.S. healthcare town hall this week Bryan H. said the “vast majority” of 2026 layoffs were done by Feb. and now they're primarily looking into IFP.

Well, there were just more layoffs in Dental yesterday. This is on top of about 15% of our org being cut in Jan/Feb so it’s clearly not over yet. We’re really going to struggle to keep the business going.

Anyone hear of other layoffs this week?

Tip for future WFRs - FSA cutoff

Was part of the Sept 22 impact with effective date Oct 3. Health insurance is extended through the end of the impact month, however FSA cutoff is the last day worked. I scrambled to more a dental procedure from November to mid-Oct only to find out ot won't be eligible for FSA dental coverage since it was not prior to Oct 3. The paperwork provided is confusing at best and no one walks you through it. I am out $1200 of unused FSA because I thought I had til Oct 31. Don't make my mistake.

Annual Benefits Enrollment

Since it seems to be that time already. which plan carrier do you guys have and or are you switching or keeping your current.

Dental Premiums are also going up so I'm interested to see what that will be. I have the PPO since I'd rather pull my own teeth than step foot in a dental dental again
