All telltale signs of a decline
Excessive discipline, control, micromanagement. They point to a business that's run out of real substance and strategic direction. From where I'm sitting, the whole thing is coming apart.
Anyone get slammed today?
Any of my fellow non complaints get put on pip or reprimanded today? Didn't hear from management today not sure if that's good or bad haha.
Since managing committee doesn't seem to want to listen to employees, maybe some bad press would actually catch their attention a bit more. Not sure how many Minneapolis news stations aren't owned by a conglomerate that would bury the story though.
A supposed Workday date fix is in progress
Workday currently has a message that reads, "NOTICE: We are actively addressing an issue affecting the accuracy of In Office Adherence data. As a result, a data update is currently in progress. This message will be cleared once corrective actions are... — read more
I'm not sure this could have been handled in a worse way
Everything has been bad, from communication to execution to now expectations. If they wanted to get us mad and for morale to plummet, then job well done!
Absoulte sh-tshow
Just a rant!! Earlier, 11 days used to do it but now 61% is 14 days. Makes no sense. My entire team is remote, I was hired remote but forcefully transitioned me to an office. I come here just to attend meetings and work alone with no in office... — read more
Has anyone else noticed the advertised pay range for positions is lower than previous years?
I see a grade 14 in Minneapolis advertised at $98,000 - $115,000. That seems kind of low, especially if they don’t offer $115,000. I know grade 12’s making over $100,000. This company is cheap and a dead end. Thank you Gunjan!
26 Extra Days In Office
Based on the previous goal of 11 days, we needed 132 days in office a year. To hit over 60% we now need 158 days. But, that doesn't include PTO, right? In order to get a month to require 11 days it needs to have 18 eligible days. Based on the maximum... — read more
To the Board and Wall Street
Morale at USB is the lowest it’s ever been. Don’t believe the way they will try and spin the engagement survey. The only reason there is not a massive flight of talent is the economy. There is no support for the CEO or her managing committee. They... — read more
5 days IO
I have heard that a very high up person basically confirmed to some people that they have plans to bring everyone in 5 days a week starting this fall. Has anyone else heard this?
F-U Gunjan and MC
I would just like to give the middle finger to where it’s deserved. Fu-k you GK + her following a-s kissers. I will not be joining any town halls or taking the survey.
Wishes for the world right now
I hope all the talent leaves them. I hope all these large companies lose their customer base. I hope employee-led start ups or smaller private companies take over where shareholders and the stock market are not the only things that matter.
Annual performance - RTO
Would we still receive a meaningful performance rating in the end-of-year review if all goals are met except the return-to-office goal? Completing five out of six goals should still qualify as meaningful performance.
Malicious Compliance
What are ways to in all technicality adhere to RTO rules to the letter, without breaking rules, but still fighting the micromanagement mandates? Some Ideas Boycott TTUS Log into office early (in office IP tracking) and run errands in the morning... — read more
Honest question - WHY?!
I’m legitimately curious why the pendulum has swung so far to one side. Pre-covid we had balance and trust, and now we have neither. Instead of going back to balance they’ve swung to micromanagement and rigidity. What actually is fueling the need for... — read more
This whole thing is an unacceptable disaster
I'm not surprised IP tracking happened. That seemed inevitable, but retroactively changing RTO targets after employees were working toward a previous set of expectations? WOW. What kind of company does this sort of thing? Let alone a company that... — read more
The number is 6!
I didn’t fully connect the dots a couple weeks ago but our leader made sure we saw the update to the in office goal on Workday, and that it meant full days which was at least 6 hours. I didn’t think much of it until yesterday when we saw all of the... — read more
Just waiting..
In office just waiting for the hammer to come down. Not great vibes today. I know alot of people missed the mark from door badges to just not coming in. Morale is extra low today.
Just make it 5 days
At this point I would just rather they say in office 5 days, remove all “tracking” and leave us alone! (That will never happen I know). But pre-COVID when all we knew was in office, and flex to be at home as needed or we worked 4 hours office and the... — read more
RTO inaccuracy and unclear metrics
Looking through posts on here and by mine and my coworkers’ numbers, it seems the new dashboards are wildly inaccurate. I’ve seen my days count where I’ve had multiple half days in office due to appointments, my coworker who works in office 4x a week... — read more

Rabid, unethical Management at U.S. Bank of India
The upper management class has finally lost it. They want the employees to snap. We should get together and give them just that. Don’t fight amongst each other. The real enemy is all of them.
Report to the Ethics Line
I suggest we all submit reports to the Ethics Line on the Head of HR for clearly unethical and immoral rollout of the new RTO dashboard. I say it's unethical as they are now claiming it to be retroactive when not even 24 hours earlier, it was showing... — read more

If I work 6 hours in office, then go home and work 2 hours, does that count as 1 day in
Work 6 hours in office, leave to beat traffic. Work 2 hours at home to get my 8 hours day. Does that count as 1 day in office? Many people are saying if you work in the office and then work at home same day, they won’t count as a 1 day in...
I’m afraid for what’s next
This is a legitimate concern I have. If they are going through these great of lengths to HUB employees, the employees who they pride themselves on wanting, what does that mean on what’s next for remote workforce? It seems each month something gets... — read more

It's official..U.S Bank hates its employees
If you weren't sure before you should know it now. Not sure how this motivates anyone to care about their work anymore and you can't outsource your way to success.
Changing the rules is the attrition tactic
RTO was designed as an attrition playground from day one, that was always the point. It was obvious they'd keep tightening the sc--ws, and turn up the heat if not enough people quit on their own.
Non compliant on new reporting
So do we think those that are now showing under 60% the last 5 months are going to be fired? Doesn't seem ethical to change it and then use it against us. I was hitting 11 days but that isn't hitting this new 60% goal.
IP Address Tracking is OFFICIAL
Per the comms sent to all employees from the CHRO, in-office time is NOW being tracked and measured. So all the rumors can be put to bed because designated hybrid employees are being tracked for RTO indeed.
RTO Tracker Missing Days
I come into an empty office 10-12 days a month. Why are my days missing? How is this goal bring tracked? Are we going to start tracking all of the “extra hours” I put in at home after being on calls all day. The wait time for HR is 70 minutes. I am... — read more
