Most of the big players that are actually doing well don't seem to be hiring.
March layoffs
Rumors are heating up about March layoffs, does anybody here know more about it?
Awaiting updates regarding the cancellation of the CE1/Skunks works project.
After working on this project for two years, I have serious concerns about the successful delivery of the CE1 project.
No layoffs this month huh?
I'm honestly curious as to why becuase it's always started around this time for the last like 8 years; but haven't heard of any groups being hit hard. I mean yeah, layoffs are a constant thing at Dell but I'm talking about the "big" layoffs they have twice a year. One of which should have already started by now..
Wayne job change e-mail.
I’m just going to say it.
There’s talk about job changes and possible layoffs on the 19th, and the sudden shift in communication lately doesn’t feel normal. When leadership starts moving differently, there’s always a reason.
So I’ll ask what others may be thinking but aren’t saying — what do you know?
Have you seen the signs before? The random one-on-ones, increased leadership visibility, vague messaging, restructuring language, or sudden urgency?
For those who have been laid off before, what were the red flags you ignored — or only understood after the fact?
Let’s be honest. Companies rarely warn you. They reposition, they stay quiet, and then they act.
This isn’t about spreading rumors. It’s about recognizing patterns and being prepared instead of blindsided.
If you know something, saw something, or experienced this before, say it. Silence only protects the company, not the people.
Housecalls Updates
Please share any updates. To summarize: there are reports from some posters re visit cancelations, no zone assignments, and lighters schedules. So far it appears that only CA and PA were mentioned. Since 02/19 is next week please share any information if known.
Global Marketing and Global Distribution Organizational Update
Something is happening. No clue what. But all associates were instructed to work from home tomorrow.
"We will discuss important organizational updates and critical information about our organization."
Rumors are layoffs will continue throughout the month
I don't know how we're supposed to manage that much stress.
I'm glad it wasn't today
For what it’s worth, I’m glad it wasn’t today. I appreciate the extra time, even a day makes a big difference when you’re preparing for the worst.
will kyndryl go bankrupt in the next two years
honest question
Numbers are out today
Fingers crossed
EAP FEC Meeting
Today we had a rather disturbing EAP meeting for teams who recently lost leaders as a means to check in. While the sentiment was nice it quickly turned into , IS MY JOB SECURE?
To which we were met with nothing short of WE DONT KNOW! There a chirpings of the FEC family engagement center being shut down . I’m sure that this was the heads up today
So, is it over or not?
Should we expect more tomorrow? I'm completely confused. All I hear are contradicting rumors.
Apla after cs departs
What will happen to apla after CS departs? I work there and I'm worried. CC is only interim and rumor has it she's made it very clear she doesn't want a geo leadership role.
Can anyone offer any insight?
So, are we basically looking at rolling layoffs through April?
We'll go crazy before this is over. Normally, I wouldn't care as much, I can't stand my job, but have you seen the unemployment numbers and job market lately?
Reorg in sbg
Any news what can happen and when
Corporate?
Has anyone heard anything? Doesn't seem like its today, but maybe my org hasn't been hit yet.
Is it certain that layoffs are done?
No more next week?
No clear information
My manager says she hasn't heard anything definitive about more layoffs. The rumors are flying though. This uncertainty is worse than knowing for sure.
CWA union contract
does anyone know whats going on.The local hasn't said anything,.Any real updates?
Do you think things will improve before next year?
Or is it already too late for that?
Impacts of January announcements?
Anyone know what the impacts are yet from Julie's announcements? I left in Summer 2024, and I have been interviewing to come back. The final round has been on hold until the set the final organizational changes. Seems the leaders dont have a clue what's up in USBU, GPD(now international).
Any hints?
Next week is safe, right?
Layoffs are only on post-payday Tuesday?
Has anyone heard anything?
Any rumor at all about when the next round of layoffs will start?
Bracing for a bloodbath
The rumors about major cuts this month feel more substantial than the usual gossip. I'm getting genuinely concerned that we're walking into a disaster in the coming weeks.
Site Closures?
Can someone confirm if Minnesota site has been closed? Are there any other locations going to close this year? Utah?
How Are You Motivating Yourself to Keep Going?
Usually, I have no issues with self-motivation, but this last round of layoffs has made me especially disheartened. It’s getting more and more obvious by the day that this company cannot be repaired. Giving up on people, cutting back on business hours, switching to cheaper technology tools, and on and on and on…that does not signify a healthy company that is expecting a bo-m.
What are you doing to stay focused other than making sure you can pay your mortgage/rent, feed your family, etc.?
I tell myself that I am going to start job searching, but I’m just totally wiped out by the end of the day to put any serious effort into it.
I feel trapped. I have no idea what is next. So much for “nothing is changing other than the company name on your paycheck”. One of PK’s great lies.
My head is spinning with all of this uncertainty and constant change in priorities.
Everything s*cks so bad, it’s only going to get worse from here.
Rumor
Can anyone confirm if it’s true that Tuesday will be the 2nd round of layoffs hitting fraud this time? Mainly detection
Those waiting to be put out of their misery
Taking into account the company's cash position, have you considered the possibility that you may not even get a severance?
RTO causing mental breakdown
Without any remote the travelling back and forth is just plain exhausting and mentally draining and with the uncertainty of the company on whether layoffs are gonna happen especially with the amounts of things changing it's just suffocating. Really hate this.
It’s so difficult to deal with this much uncertainty
We're not living in some golden age where jobs are easy to find. I'm freaking out, and by the looks of it, the vast majority of people around me are too.
Trying to predict the unpredictable
We all know layoffs are coming at some point. Does anyone have an educated guess on the start date? Next week? Next month? Even later?
