Sounds like it's everywhere. Has any area been spared?

ChiArts Teachers Laid Off Amid CPS Management Shift
At least 22 teachers were laid off from ChiArts. This happened during its transition to Chicago Public Schools management. Affected teachers had to reapply for their jobs. Staff members report poor communication from new leadership. The school's unique model and remaining positions face an uncertain future.

Question Regarding Accredo and Current Layoffs
I was just wondering if anyone has heard whether Accredo will also be impacted by the current layoffs at Cigna, or if that area is expected to remain stable for now.
There seems to be a lot of uncertainty, so I thought I would ask in case anyone has heard any updates or information being shared internally.
What's happening in October?
In the title.
Are all notifications out?
Can we consider ourselves safe if we didn't get anything by now?

Layoffs are not going away
For those who keep asking "are layoffs done," the answer is always going to be no. Maybe there won't be many large rounds anymore, but small cuts are happening all the time. Just ask around. We're in the stage where layoffs are just another fact of life.
Here we go
Good luck all, I know all of us will need it in the coming days.
No peace of mind
Has there been a single day in the past 12 months that we didn't have to worry about cuts? I'm pretty sure the answer is no. Even after the cuts are freshly over, we immediately start thinking about the next round, because we all know it's coming. How come we all allowed for this to become the new normal?
Did I get this right?
The next round won't happen at least for a few months, right?
“Running out of work.”
My department has been told the goal is to “run out of work,” and that we should not be concerned with this. Today we “ran out of work.” Concerned?
Which teams will be hit the hardest
Is there any consensus which divisions will be hit the hardest in upcoming merger layoffs? P+ was already decimated rather recently. Thoughts or knowledge on if streaming will be hit hard again? Not sure what to expect with the combining of HBO Max
I'm having trouble sleeping
I just wish this was already over and done with. I’d rather it had happened on Wednesday and I knew one way or another than sit here for days letting my anxiety spiral. This waiting is the worst part of it. I really do think being left in limbo like this is inhumane.
Who's next?
The rumors are already starting. Which department gets cut next round? And when? Anyone heard anything concrete?
Merger layoffs
With stock price down and merger looming, anyone know if they will start lay offs before merger? What are thoughts on layoffs in next few months?
why is it so quiet?
No change means massive change ahead
Why do we still need cuts?
Results seem to be great, so why are we still cutting people? If layoffs are happening while the numbers are good, it makes you wonder how bad things would get for employees if results actually started slipping.
IT layoffs
I'm hearing this round is roughly 600 folks. Do we know if everybody has been notified already or if this will continue throughout the week?
Is anybody else surprised there haven’t been more cuts already?
The way everything was announced before the whole thing started made it sound like people would be getting cut nonstop for months. That so far hasn't been the case. I’m definitely not complaining, I’m just surprised and wondering if something changed behind the scenes.
The anxiety is crushing
As soon as the layoff rumors start, I can't sleep. I am consumed with anxiety, I can't focus, I can't stop checking my inbox. How do the rest of you cope with this kind of uncertainty?
For those who think it’s over
1000+ roles might not seem much but majority of these were VP, SVP level roles.
When these leadership roles are filled, the teams are consolidated and there WILL BE natural redundancy introduced that will further fuel reduction in future.
The leaders and HR have been lying all this time.
The 800+ leadership roles elimination have left 25k associates fate again in limbo.
The new leaders who take up these roles will again evaluate team structure, introducing further stress, anxiety and uncertainty which will last till fall.
And next Q1 will further see more reductions.
What about next week?
Any chances there are some leftover cuts that could happen?
Tomorrow is Layoff Day - happy mothers day
Please keep us posted as they blow away such a great company.
How is everybody handling the current situation?
I moved back home two years ago after spending five years at Aramco, and I can’t tell you how relieved I am not to be there right now. The place had already gone downhill before the entire region exploded, so I can only imagine what things are like there now.
Earlier post brings up vesting
Do you think we’re more of a target for a layoff if we’re under five years?
When u got hired it was a big deal Fidelity wanted us to stay on and it seemed they wanted us happy now I’m worried since I’m just a year a way from fully vested.
I'm now confused
With so many different layoff dates being thrown around, I honestly have no idea what’s coming anymore or when. At this point, I can’t even tell whether next week is safe or not.
"Over for now" & "Nothing planned"
Do they really thing they are reassuring anyone when they say: "Over for now" & "Nothing planned"... Anyone who has an option should consider this as a clear sign about what to do. This fuzziness, double speak and silence from executives creates nothing but rumor loops and anxiety. What a way to lead...
So exactly how long are these layoffs supposed to last?
We're all going to lose our minds before it's done.
Are we safe now?
With the whole Cognizant thing done, are those of us who're left behind safe at least for a while?
Value / VCG are we cooked?
Let’s see what happens tmm
Asked Manager Straight.
Asked my manager straight if I am part of the layoffs. He seemed to be unaware and pretended that he didn’t know much. Either he’s on the chopping block with me or is playing d-mb. I do see a 15 min slot booked on his caleder tomorrow at 9:30. 😂
