Expressing my gratitude to Teradata & the people

I just wanted to take a moment to tell each and every one of you here that I'm really grateful for those who hustle and are working to keep Teradata as being the Trusted AI company. Our contributions keep us up with our competition and we continue to power massive data centers.

I genuinely mean it when I say I love each and every one of you who've put their hearts into this mission and I appreciate you for your work. My team the BCM group continues to keep our customers critical data synced up and this mission is super important to me. On this thanksgiving I hope you're all with your families, energized and ready to return to the beautiful San Diego office to keep crushing it!

Shame on BP

On behalf of the employees in the US that are about to celebrate the holidays among the stress of layoffs and restructuring, shame on bp. A company already struggling with a leadership and expertise vacuum gets weaker and more inefficient everyday due to its half-hearted offshoring efforts. It’s amusing to see roles being filled by people who have no idea what they are doing with little to no leadership oversight. Even basic technical functions have ground to a halt. The domestic staff that are retained have zero motivation to work hard because they know they’re likely to be a victim of the next transformation.

If you’re a shareholder, you should be concerned. What ever stock gains you see from “cutting costs” and inflated “profit” due to inflation will be undone in just a few months by the incompetency of a workforce that has little to no understanding of the domestic market. This is the nail in the coffin for bp. Bookmark this.

Network Assurance

Dan & Executives! If you’re reading this please stop laying us off. Having 150 + macros sites is nuts. Good bye work life balance.

Also, how long until you do the same stuff as sprint and outsource network to vendors ? If you want to take Verizon to the ground this is the way.

Happy thanksgiving!!!!

Happy 🦃 Turkey Day

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone on board. Over the past six months, being here has truly felt like being welcomed into a real community and a second family. I am grateful for the support, kindness, and everyday moments we have shared together.

Wishing you and your families a wonderful holiday filled with good food, warmth, laughter, and time to relax with the people you love. All the very best to each of you today and throughout the season ahead.

Happy thanksgiving

This is my last thanksgiving as an employee. Effectively retiring in January. There’s been many ups and downs throughout the years and friends that have come and gone. Though it’s not the place and environment I started with I’d do it all over again. Good luck to those that are left with the upcoming changes, I hope it works out for the best when it’s all said and done.
If I have any advice..:.don’t dwell on what you think could happen down the road. Work and live in the now and someday you wake up 37 years later and it’s all behind you.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Make sure you take time to enjoy family and friends, eat some good food, enjoy some good entertainment. True happiness is worth more than money, possessions, or job status. Hug your significant other, tell your children how much you love them, reach out to your parents, aunts, uncles etc... Jobs come and go friends and family last forever.

STOP LOOKING AT THESE POSTS OVER THE HOLIDAYS! TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!

Doesn't feel like Thanksgiving

I don’t feel like I have much to be thankful for right now, and the only thing I keep trying to remind myself of is that at least I don’t have a wife and kids depending on me, because getting laid off would’ve hit even harder if I had a whole family to worry about. It just feels awful that they chose this exact moment to do it, right when the holidays are supposed to make people feel grounded and supported, and I can’t stop thinking about how easily they could’ve waited until January instead of dumping all this stress on everyone now.

Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 to all workers

Remember you’re all just a number & don’t be mad when we lay you off during the holiday season, it’s the corporate way here in the good old 🇺🇸!

Love your corporate (insert name here) CEO.

PS: I’ll be on vacation during the holidays at a tropical 🌴 location.

Happy Thanksgiving

For those celebrating the US Thanksgiving holiday (and all others of course), wishing you the best! I hope that despite the circumstances, you can share time, laughter, and love with those closest to you this week. At the end of the day, this is what matters most. God bless.

Thanksgiving!

I'm thankful that I survived another week at this place. I need these two days off coming up this week just to try to survive until I can get my EIP in March and leave. I set this as my main goal for myself and hope many of you will do the same. Get out of this soul ki-ling place. It seeps into every aspect of your life and the toxic environment corrupts everything it touches. Do not convince yourself this is the way things have to be, this is not living, it is just surviving until the next week. Waiting for the next calamity, next insane idea, next toxic leader or next reassignment inyo a horrible role. Sad place....this Snake Farm!

It just keeps getting worse!

Things never change with this company! Each year, our hours keep getting shorter, yet the workload remains the same, and they still expect everything to be completed. They assume salaried managers will handle it all, but those who work the hardest often burn out quickly. Meanwhile, others seem to get by without any consequences. If you were hoping to earn some extra money for the holidays, be aware that you might only be scheduled to work the day after Thanksgiving—and only if there are call-outs from permanent employees.

Laying off Employees during Thanksgiving week 'Elevates Fiserv'

Long term loyal employees are professionals and do understand the changing business environment. If the business has a need and decide to send them out, atleast pick a decent time to do it, well before or after Thanksgiving week.

Don't punch them hard in their face 2 days before Thanksgiving, they have to show their face to their family when they get home.

Cutting hours

How are you already telling me as a fresh managers my hours will be cut for Thanksgiving week how is that even possible and as a produce lead I have to make sure produce, deli, and freezer cooler looks good everyday smhhhhhh.
