With all the doubt around the campus I sent my resume for a role. Turns out the role, through an agency, is with my team and the agent sent my resume to my manager. She wants to meet me Monday, can I be fired for looking for other work in this time of uncertainty?

Seeing a shiiiitload of LinkedIn retirements/ Surpluses
Seeing a shiiiitload of LinkedIn retirements/ Surpluses
Quickly losing track of how many LinkedIn posts from now ex-AT&T employees across the board, Retirement or Surplus layoffs. One thing the company will find out soon is how Morale will plummet even Further once the remaining survivors are in a constant state of uncertainty, apathy, disengagement, quiet quitting and throwing each other under the bus to stay on payroll. Just look at other companies that have already done massive cuts and are at historically low morale among employees. Newer employees that can leave will already be eyeing the Exit to get out on their own terms and the older employees will be stuck praying for a buyout— but all will feel like they are next on the chopping block. Good luck getting employees to give a F#CK about the company when they already feel that they are inevitably up next. As more employees lose faith in the future of the company you will also see a wave of Executives sprinting towards the exits cashing out their Stocks, not IF but when…. AT&T is circling down the toilet bowl 💩 🚽
Qualcomm EU centers
Extremely worried about the future here. Uncertain times. Will these centers survive?
Layoffs USPAH
Happening this week. Any info on how’s many
Today's Layoffs - I've heard 10% across the company; 30% for my organization
Lots of reorgs are coming. Lots of meetings were held today. I feel bad for those who were surplused. And unfortunately, another wave is coming in September.
Precision Parcel Logistics Lays Off Nearly 100 Workers
Precision Parcel Logistics (PCLG) laid off nearly 100 employees in mid-June. The company operated as an Amazon Delivery Service Partner in Paducah. PCLG owner Cody Bauhs announced the company's dissolution due to "personal reasons." Many employees learned of the closure through an email, causing shock and uncertainty. The West Kentucky Workforce Board is offering rapid response services to assist the affected workers.

July RIF is it happening?
If the rumors are true why are we need seeing more posts and activity around this? We usually start hearing “insider” information about meetings, lists, numbers, etc. Is it really happening? Spill the tea
Allina Health
Things seem to be moving fast, anyone with more insider info/dates?
What is Everyone's Plan?
We are stuck with "her" until 2028. The next MP will probably be dopey david or some other insane clown worse than PP. So what is everyone doing to keep their sanity while trying to plan ahead? Are you all trying to just stick it out and hope something changes for the better by 2028? Actively looking for another job in this horrible job market? Or, trying to stay under the radar until retirement? I have a feeling that the LP offer in september is not going to get as many sign ups as they hope. They will then use this as a means to pivot to go public sometime around when PP leaves. All under the guise that we don't have enough buy ins to keep the pyramid err uh "partnership" afloat. 1450 FAs walked away last year, a new EDJ record. That should tell you something.
Treasury & Risk town hall cancelled
Was in the calendar for 23 June, now to be “rescheduled following quarter end close”. Probably waiting to see who’s still here to do the presentation.
Positions Being Hit
Dont comment to say everyone will be hit. Comment your insider details on what you have heard so far. My PL and their director claim to have no clue and promise to be transparent. Someone has to know something.
Twiddling the thumbs, waiting for the other boot to drop..
Ahhh, gotta love the glorious anticipation that we are all subjected to while expected to ignore it and keep working.
Not the first one of these I’ve been through here, but the angst is palpable.
Wish we had a date to prepare for.
What Day of the Week Do Layoffs Typically Occur?
Is there a particular day of the week when layoffs occur? I heard they typically occur on a Thursday, but that could be wrong. I think something's brewing in my part of the company.
Any jobs safe?
I work in customer service and will be starting a new role in authorizations. I wonder if I'm safe.
Anybody here from Fidelis?
What’s the talk around here? I’m working remote so hard to gauge what’s going on in other departments here. Been here for more than 5 years.
For those familiar with programs like the VSP
Is it standard practice that some "applications" may be denied? As in, you could accept the VSP terms only to be rejected anyway? My manager made our team aware of this possibility without coming right out and saying it. He said "not everyone will get accepted" which I found out.
Obviously Centene stands to benefit from seeing how many people will bite before giving them the green light. They benefit, again, from having a final headcount by 7/2 so that they don't accidentally over-correct. Not that it makes much sense to offer the VSP to so many employees that Centene could end up needing to hire people when all's said and done, but clearly leadership isn't the brightest...
This is the first I've ever heard of one of these programs. I'm trying to gauge whether Centene's being extra shifty with the "your application may not be approved" sh-t, or if that's standard.
June 17 !!
The long awaited day is almost here. They have us walking on pins and needles all week.
Who is safe?
Certain employee groups are ineligible for the VSP “ “.
What are the specialized roles and core initiatives that would be “safe”
Are new team members exempt from the upcoming layoff or just not eligible for the VSP?
Senior executives- VP and up?
Some departments have been laying off staff for months now. Was that a separate initiative?
Upstream/Downstream meeting wednesday
Any big announcements planned for the upstream/downstream meeting on Wednesday?
Q2
So the end of Q2 is upon us. Has anyone heard rumblings? It’s happened the last 2 years so I’m just curious.
Who is affected in terms of Layoffs? (No BS Talk)
All these posts are full of trash talk. We have all been here before and expressed all of our opinions. I just want to know the rumors/facts people have came across. Do you know what teams are being hit by layoffs?
What to do if boss puts meeting invite on 6/17?
What does everyone recommend we do if our boss puts a meeting invite on 6/17? Does that mean we are toast? Has anyone considered taking PTO or blocking off their calendar day on 6/17 with more important meetings? I am just going to say that our application has an urgent security concern that needs to be addressed or it risks being shutdown. It is a joke how this is being handled at our company.
What are the latest RTO rumors?
Each team seems to be evaluating what to do based on role. I’m tired of waiting and want to plan my life. What rumors are you hearing?
New CEO
On a scale of 1 to "heading back to the FB-plantation" how will the employees fair?
Worried about more
I can't stop thinking about whether more cuts are on the way. Does anyone have any idea if we can expect more soon?
Current layoffs status?
Anyone has a clue where we are with the latest layoffs wave? I can see Slack count increased today by 200+. Still no idea what happens in EMEA after Cz layoffs, complete silence.
Will things start getting better?
This year so far was really hard. The workload, the uncertainty, the layoffs, and all the other changes made sure of that. I keep wondering if the second half of the year could actually be worse. Is that possible? Or have we hit the bottom and things will get better? I truly don't know.
Is it 6/17 or 6/19?
Yall are starting to scare me lol.
Another week, another expected layoff
How has this become the new normal?
6/15 dreaded date
Hearing folks are off payroll 7/1. Right or wrong?
What will be the changes to the benefits plan next year
Remember that survey we had to fill out? What will be the changes? So many people speculate that Schwab will discontinue the health plan, give people a fixed sum, and let people find their own insurance.
Is tomorrow D-Day?
We know the massive charge takes place in 1Q and tomorrow is the last month in the quarter.
Buckle up!
Here comes June...
So only a few people got laid off today?
Don't get me wrong, it's still devastating for each of them, and I really feel for those affected. Every job loss hits a family, not just a person. But this wasn't the bloodbath everyone was expecting. Does this mean the big round is still ahead of us?
FT surprise
Oh people are going to be surprised once the news from FT drop. If someone wants to share in detail please be my quest.
Good luck to everyone next week
Whatever happens, don't blame yourselves. This isn't about you. It's about greed and poor leadership.
Optum health
Seems like there are big layoffs for tech, rx, all of the non-Optum health areas. Does anyone know if health or care will be impacted this week?
Any other layoffs?
Just the new division?
