What does fidelity care about and not care about as far as giving back equipment? I’m hoping I can keep the monitors, docking station and webcam but obviously won’t steal them. According to the fid central site if equipment is older than they like we can keep it but it doesn’t specify. Anyone know?

Just resigned from my position here in the U.S. How do I go about returning my laptop and equipment? No direction has been provided by my manager - will I get a box in the mail?

In fact, this week I’m going to pawn my Ford laptop and see how long it takes for anyone to ask me why I have not responded back to their email yet? I’ll tell them I have been too busy since my Ford manager dumped extra work on me since most of our group is well known Ford Slackers. Our manager just looks the other way rather than doing his job in firing the slackers.

My last day at BNY was a few weeks ago. What would happen if I don’t return a computer monitor that I’ve used for wfh?

For context- they reached out shortly before my last day requesting my address to send a box to return the monitor. I gave my address and had told them they’ll also need to send someone to pick it up. I never heard back and the box recently arrived. I have no intention of physically carrying the box to a local shipping location.

They surprised me at the speed in which they lock out laid off employees from the laptops. We are talking 15-30 minutes. And they can discreetly delete the Outlook and Teams app off your phone within an hour. I guess the proficiency is due to the high volume of practice they receive every six or so months.

Now, only if Team Shannon Bell could find away to fulfill routine employee IT requests in a timely manner. Right now we are talking weeks, and in some cases, months.

This company is a clown show.

Last day was 12/19. Completed the separation checklist. Almost.
Turned in concession devices, ID, etc. Except my laptop.
I submitted a request for a box, never arrived. Sent a text to my last manager, they said they would submit another request. That was 6 weeks ago. Still no box, still have this useless junk.
Is this going to affect payment of the 2025 STI?

That dell "issued" me. Obviously not the computers as I need those, and those are tracked lol... but I'm talking about a few things that were given to me via Dell and via the perhiprial request form..

A headset worth $250 that I don't REALLY need, a dock that is MSRP $569 as two examples...

I started 8 years ago and have had the same dock since then. It still works fine but its been doing goofy things when I plug it into my personal laptop so, I requested a new dock. Finally got it and this dock is retailing for fkn $600! I have no reason to have two docks but, I'm 99% positive that anything you request (minus computers) from dell is not tracked nor are you "issued" it in terms of tracking purposes, nor are you obligated to return if laid off/quit.

This dock has no service tag sticker on it like our computers do and sure, I have no doubt they have the SN of it tied to my name but, I've ordered 3 headsets in my years - 1 broke, the other had the mic chewed up by my puppy. Those headsets are like $250...

The other device I have I'm confident I could sell because it came from my contracting company - but was technically purchased via Dell - and I could get about $200-500 for it. The licenses have run out on it at this point which devalued it by about 3k but it's just collecting dust in my closet at this point.

I'm very much considering selling this new dock though... Hasn't even been plugged in yet. Worst that can happen is I get laid off and they ask for it back, which I can say it was lost during a move or stolen...

I have not logged onto my laptop for three months now except at the end of my shift to input my time. I don’t feel like I really need a laptop since I’m not given a lot of work to do and I’m happy with that.

I want to know how I can uninstall Microsoft Outlook from my Boeing computer.
I don't want to receive or read any more useless emails every day or respond back to them. I get about 20 emails a day from, coworkers asking about my work, my manager asking me useless questions and emails from Boeing corp. About a year ago, I changed the Outlook settings so my Inbox will never receive any emails in it. All the emails sent to me by anyone go directly in to my Delete folder. I manually empty the Delete folder every day before I log off my computer. I'm tired of having to do the manually empty delete folder every day and want to uninstall Outlook from my computer. Can someone provide the how to uninstall Outlook steps?

Where or how do we return our laptops? Do we initiate it or does our manager?

Management just took our lunch table and barricaded the printer access with it. Apparently they are going to sit their all shift and we cannot present a quote without their approval. Half expecting the bathroom access next and cant gain access until sell a BYOD+

Hi all just wanted to give a quick update on the hand soap in BH. It appears that “they” have halted all water-down operations.

The soap is back to normal.

Curious what people’s opinions are with the new 4 day mandatory in office policy update. I get that it makes sense since it’s an office supplies company but there are plenty of teams that don’t even do 3 days now. Is this a ploy to avoid layoffs in hopes that enough employees quit to make up the deficit?

Manager here who hasn't heard of this 8 hour in office rule. I've seen a lot of post about this so I know it's a thing. Was there an email sent out or were you guys just notified by leadership?

Also, is anybody else's a lot of business not providing work from home equipment anymore? This is ridiculous.

Need some help. I was part of the RIF earlier this month. Given WARN, my last day is Nov 3. However, I got the equipment return box this week. Am I supposed to return the equipment now (within 5 days) or wait until Nov 3rd ? I have no use for the laptop but since I am still on the payroll (albeit garden leave) until Nov3 , I wasn’t sure if I should return things now.

Manager said, that is why we have standing desk. Chair is still missing and nobody saw it being moved. Anyone else experiencing this?

Did any one attend the Ergonomics session last week? My office chair is nine years old. All of the broken chairs end up in the conference rooms.
