Do you know that an average German employee has to work around 360 years only to make an equivalent of what Christian Klein gets as a bonus in a year?

Shocking, isn’t it?

But not really.

In most companies, executive bonuses are a fraction of their salary unless they have a very good year. At SAP, executive bonuses are several times their salaries even with drastic drops in the share price and losing shareholder confidence.

Such high bonuses are made possible because of a supervisory board that prefers to give more money to the board and group executives over actually giving more value to shareholders. Since CK joined the board, there has been a tremendous push to increase executive bonuses and reduce employee bonuses.

There was a proposal to pay executive bonuses in RSUs so their remuneration is based on their performance. But it was shot down by them.

Sales have been trying to get more European government contracts but we’re losing them instead because CK is forcing governments to use Palantir and American cloud companies and they don’t want that.

Product and Engineering has been trying to bring all SAP products together to create a seamless end user experience. But they’re asked to stop and instead put customer data in a memory which is accessible to chatbots from American companies in the name of AI.

Engineers have been learning new skills to be better at their work but they are told that being an expert is no good and the only way to grow is by getting on a management track.

Customers are asking for important features in core SAP products and they are told that they should focus on AI slop instead because it’ll be easier for them to lay off their own employees with the help of SAP.

Employees are just asking for fair salary increases and basic human respect. But executives are treating them as dental plaque that needs to be removed with each cleaning. And executives are doubling down to keep them in fear of losing their livelihoods because it’s fun for them.

Shareholders are asking for SAP to have a decent realistic product roadmap and sustainable growth. But instead, they are getting more bull excr-ment called autonomous enterprise which is just frankly bad marketing. And they’re being blamed for not being open to innovation when the share price falls.

We’ve truly reached an interesting age of capitalism where a handful of people who have many times the wealth necessary for a lifetime are exploiting hard working people so they can amass even more wealth.

Their biggest enablers are the supervisory board and group executives and CK fanboys. Stop supporting these freaks.

What can we do to stop this transfer of wealth from shareholders to the pockets of these executives?


German Biontech to Reduce Workforce by 1,800

Biontech plans significant production cuts. This German company will reduce its workforce. Approximately 1,800 staff members will depart. Decreased demand for COVID-19 vaccines drives this decision. Biontech developed its vaccine with Pfizer.

German Layoffs +20%

The next round of layoffs in Germany was announced today. The plan is to cut 300 of the current 1,400 positions. Since Europe, and Germany in particular, has strong employment protection laws, Oracle will now negotiate the measures with the works council. During the last round, this process took 6–8 weeks.


Anyone laid off in Germany Munich

Any one from Germany, how much need to negotiate for 6.5 years experience in synopsys. please help me to understand some thumb rule to negotiate with HR.

In German labor law, if you want to challenge a termination (Kündigungsschutzklage) in court, you must file the lawsuit within 3 weeks of receiving the termination letter.


Why Germany and France had no layoffs ?

I find it discriminatory that Germany and France had no layoffs in 2025 while all other locations had to layoff people.

SAP didn't provide any explanation...

It's not against our German and French colleagues but I think we deserve an explanation from SAP on the reason behind this decision.


Next 3 months are going to be interesting

Employees in France will receive another Voluntary Separation Program, and Germany is likely to have this option as well. Maverick testing for CSG is nearly complete and is expected to wrap up by November or before the holiday season. The new CSG system is scheduled to go live in February.

This transition may lead to significant system instability and a surge in escalations. Concurrently, a substantial portion of the Workforce Reduction will be executed. All in all, the next three months promise to be dynamic and eventful.

Lufthansa will eliminate 4,000 jobs worldwide by 2030, largely in Germany, focusing on administrative functions as it expands AI driven efficiencies. The airline is simultaneously modernizing its fleet and growing in markets including Canada and Portugal.

The changes are part of the Ambition 2030 program targeting higher margins and free cash flow. The company links the reorganization to digitalization and AI, following similar moves by other firms.


Cuts in Germany

The automotive industry is faltering in more ways than one, and layoffs appear to be a direct result of the struggle. The Ford job cuts in Germany are the latest sign of challenging times in the EV industry. This week, Ford Motor Co. announced that it would cut 1,000 jobs in Cologne, where its electric auto plant was floundering after lower-than-expected demand for its battery-powered cars.

Intel is laying off 24,000 employees and retreating from some countries

Intel says it will retreat from planned projects in Germany and Poland, end its assembly and test operations in Costa Rica, and finish 2025 with just around 75,000 “core employees” in total.

Intel employed 109,800 people at the end of 2024, of which 99,500 were “core employees,” so the company is pushing out around 24,000 people this year — shrinking Intel by roughly one-quarter.

Spending 100 billion on all these

Meanwhile have a negative revenue. Rumors are floating cutting back benefits and salaries.

Intel cannot pay employees salary how is going to pay for all of these.

Almost 50 billion in debt

Products are not competitive at all in GPU or AI space.

EMEA and Asia update.

I wanted to share with you what I know about current situation in EMEA in general.

#Northern Europe there are 60 people affected by this change.

I have heard (Not confirmed) that 20 people was let go in Irland, Dublin in Support.

I also know a number middle Management who has been let go in the UK office.

#Further I have confirmation that at least one TRM in Nordic region has been affected and one consultant.

#Germany and France are in due process, No further update at this point. However checkout this space. I am sure we get more updates.

I also heard (again not confirmed) that consulting team across the world has been hit badly with Germany awaiting judgement day.

#Further rumour is that the Hong Kong office and Greece office has been shutdown.

What does not make much of sense is how they are shutting down parts of business which is profitable. Consulting is one of those areas which brings a lot of revenue I assume and some very good people has been left. I was expecting to be one of them however I got an email which indicated that my role was not affected.
