Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

GrowthX?

Has anyone managed to work out what Ramnaths latest email on his new initiative, GrowthX, is all about?
I can’t quite work through his management-speak word salad well enough to truly understand what this program is aiming to do.
I’m genuinely interested and will suspend my usual cynicism until I can understand the email.
Confused.

This evening in the q2 earnings call, the suits will explain why growth was not possible in 8,5 years. Stay tuned! Fasten your seatbelts for some more deception.

We just introduced Xponential, DXC's AI orchestration blueprint. It's designed to accelerate enterprise AI outcomes and seamlessly integrate people, processes, and technology - with governance and security embedded from day one.

We believe it represents the next evolution of enterprise AI: orchestrated, responsible, and repeatable.

My colleague Angela Daniels breaks it down in her latest blog, "Evolve with clarity: How Xponential drives AI transformations from vision to value."

Complete AI slop - DXC style

This place doesn't need Artificial Intelligence. It needs ACTUAL Intelligence.

@cb That's why we have to congratulate the guy now, before he's achieved any growth, cos you know there's none coming...

Imagine a jobless accountant living the Netflix dream, lounging in sweatpants for months on end and debating with his wife over which series to binge next. Then bam! He trades in his remote for a desk at DXC. Ramnath is the ultimate “from couch potato to corporate hero” story. He made quite the impression on Rawool in his first interview, not only because he knew Rawool's favorite Netflix series but also because he was budget-friendly and made no sense when he spoke. Soon, he’ll be back to watching Netflix during his work day.

You can try running it through the corporate bullsh-t translator. Plenty of them out there.

Does cagr include the selling of parts of the company? Probably if those bits hadn't been sold the revenue would look different...

Anyway I don't really understand how this place seems to fail so many times and why it seems the endless parade of senior "talent" can't seem to fix it.

I'm sure the endless unrelenting grind on employee pay is a big part of the problem, but it's probably not the only one.

Did the email trigger action, inspire or energize? WIIFM? Actually countless similar emails were issued since 2017. Their effect is shown in table below showing the average annual compound growth rate (CAGR) for revenue over the period 2017-2025
DXC Technology –8.04%
Accenture +6%
Infosys +11,9%
Cognizant + 3,9%
Cap Gemini + 7,6%

Very poorly chosen name if we remember the success of the previous initiative ending with letter X. Probably it is AI infused as well
