Has the Q1 round of layoffs wrapped up? Are we expecting another round at the end of Q2? What’s the full-year target for layoffs, and how many have already been cut so far? I only saw media mention 1,000 in January, but no numbers for March or the rest of the year. Any clarity?

Well, that was useless
I think we can safely say that we now know exactly as much about more layoffs as we did before the earnings. Yes, we have some numbers, and we know some changes are coming, but when it comes to when, where, and how many, we're still in the same exact position. Great.
19 March RIF?
The 19th is just next week. Good Luck everyone!
Too soon?

2026 JE Calendar Dates
Anyone know if the JE calendar was updated for the rest of the year? I heard there was something in April? If IT is really moving toward a 70/30 HIH/US split, it seems like there will be quite a few more JEs coming up. Low key hoping I get the axe 😬

The cat's out of the bag in EMEA
Sanjiv just hosted an EMEA Town Hall and announced significant reduction in EMEA workforce. Looks like GNT and Security will be hit hard, possibly including divestiture & partnering with other companies, but no doubt all functions and countries within region will be hit. Hearing rumours of 20-30%.
Now we have to wait in torturous silence until the EWC Works Council consultation process begins and ends. No doubt UK will be hit the hardest due to the significant hurdles in European law making it more expensive to get rid of people there...
For those of us who stayed on to the end of the call whilst the Leadership team didnt realise they were still live, the cat is out of the bag, as they put it!
Wow 553 Billon USD just the Remaining Performance Obligations, that's strong.
That's more than enough to go with data centres built and have less laysoffs.
Companies will be heavily taxed for using Ai agents and not creating Jobs.
This is the next trend.
FT: And now the end is near
Phone skills have been transferring back to FT. Website calls will move back on 03/23/2026. That leaves Retirement and Shareholder calls at FIS. After the filing deadline of 04/15/2026, those calls should move over, that date is not confirmed yet. How will that be announced? Will the remaining employees be given the date ahead of time or will the axe fall suddenly? Have no illusions, plan accordingly.
OM layoffs?
Has anyone heard anything about OM layoffs? Just seems really quiet in the function…
I received a layoff notice on Monday
I want to know if I will be pushed out the door before my last day with pay for 60 days. My official last day stated on my layoff notice is 60 days from Monday. I also want to know if there is any chance they will take back layoff notice and keep me around.
Any layoff news?
See title.
Any actual layoff news or is this now the RTO complaint forum?
Home Office Layoffs?
Has anyone heard anything about potential layoffs at the home office? Specifically on the merchandising organizations as supporting teams?
Heard today layoffs were done
Can people share what severance package they got and timelines or any other info. Thanks
You are all in denial if you don't think layoffs are going to happen at Oracle. With that being said your best option is to
resign from your boring Oracle jobs and pack it all up and move yourself to West Virginia and apply to Coal miners' jobs there. Every coal mine is West Virginia is hiring coal miners right now. These jobs pay high wages and offer excellent benefits, and you can work all the overtime you want to work. You get to work with some pretty cool equipment as a coal miner. The only problem is you have to pass a mandatory and random dr-g tests. Let's face the music about that because a lot of you at Oracle, especially Gen Z's aren't going to pass a dr-g test even if you are d-mb enough to try and fake it.
So when exactly IS the next layoff!?!?
We know there's another $600M for 'restructuring' left in this fiscal year, and we know another RIF is likely coming in Q1/June. So wtf, when is the axe going to fall next?
earning report here is my take what do you think ?
the remaining restructuring budget mentioned in report is : $639M
if they target high-pay areas (US/Canada Seniors): The number of layoffs will be lower (closer to 10k–12k) because the $639M will run out faster.
If they target low-pay areas (Global Support/QA): They can easily hit the 20,000 number to reach that 30k total. - this include the 10k from late 2025 as its under the same budget mentioned in the earning reports
As of the earning reports layoffs are mostly likely confirmed
here is the break down
$1.6 billion restructuring programme,
Phase 1 (Done) ~10,000 layoffs , $961M - this was late 2025
Remaining
Phase 2 (Now March-May) $639M
if they layoff from low paying areas then yes 20k is still to go , if its higher paid areas
then number will be lower , will see
what do you think ?
What other Sites are on the chopping block?

Market Cap 900 Million
This company is begging to be sold, but these Execs have ruined any and all value. The weird old CEO is way over his head. All he knows how to do is lay people off. Should go to Georgia State and take an Econ 101 class. Could only help. He couldn't get into tech.

AT&T radio commercial in Dallas
I just heard a commercial that made me want to puke. AT&T is promoting their 150 year anniversary. DJ said how proud he was of his father's 35 year career with AT&T and how he's been through massive technological adventures. What a joke! Stinky wants you out in less than five years; no such thing as long-term employees anymore. Zero loyalty. Fu-k AT&T!
The question nobody has asked here
is whether AI agents implemented over the last 6 months will get laid off too? And in what order? Eg,
- Expensive US based employees first
- then EU
- offshore/outsourced workers next
- AI agents, once nobody else is left
