Now we’re back to the usual agenda of outsourcing whenever possible!

“The Patient Care Systems hub will develop cloud-based platforms and clinical software to support connected care for patients with implanted cardiac devices, according to a Thursday statement from economic development agency IDA Ireland. The investment will add 85 jobs initially. New roles at the site will include leadership, software engineering and systems reliability positions.”

LAYOFFS TE Dublin

New push. Collective redundancy. First round today with many more to come this year. Not based on performance as all the usual wasters still hanging on. If you are still there you need to jump immediately. Dublin to fully close by the end of the year. Ireland Employment Law a massive issue. Everyone engage your solicitors do not be bullied. Give Bravo a financial headache. WRC scares them.

All Epic positions moving fully to Ireland

In recent meeting, we were told to expect all current and new Epic positions moving to Ireland. Apparently Epic is Ireland's national system. Never assume your job is secure. They will find a way to outsource when ever possible. I wouldn't be surprised if our entire division gets sold off soon.

Ireland & UK - office closures

Cork, Liverpool, Poole how are you doing? Any updates on when offices expect to close? Are any of you offered BAH contracts or relocation?

Wexford employees who are now BAH, did you get a new BAH contract where it says you may have to return to office or how is it working for you?

Any updates?

So far, it seems like folks in Ireland have been having a rough week. Nothing yet here, as far as I can tell. The newest rumor is that the big round might happen in the second half of November.

I honestly don’t know what to think anymore. This whole ordeal - the escalating rumors, the lack of official communication, and the high likelihood of layoffs, whether large or not - is making me really, really stressed and exhausted.

Sales team and support reps laid off in Ireland

Looks like the whole sales team was axed, and some tech support people were laid off too

1 day after the execs flew over from the US to tell us about how they were happy with the work and with the growing headcount. would have been more decent to just not say anything...

how is it looking in other locations?

Public Policy Ireland Celebration!

Wasn’t it great to see the person that represents Verizon to Congress to help offshore jobs, go to Ireland where those American jobs were moved to and celebrate it on LinkedIn? Leadership personified! Exhilarating and exciting indeed. Can’t wait to see what lives and communities they offshore next!

Layoffs in EMEA begins

The town hall meeting in Ireland was very brief, lasting less than seven minutes.
Employees were not given an opportunity to ask questions, and participants could only see the two organizers on the call. Attendance was limited to the lines of business directly impacted.

Key points communicated to employees:
A Collective Redundancy Scenario will take place.
No specific organization was named.
113 roles in Ireland will be affected:
14 in Finance
21 in Marketing
78 in Engineering/Technical
The consultation period will begin on Friday, 19 September.

54 engineering employees laid off Sept 15th

54 employees were laid off on September 15 with 33 of them being shifted to India. Deep cuts made to US based engineering teams, especially those working at headquarters. Pretty much confirms that the goal is to shift most, of not all, development work to India. AI presence will largely remain in Ireland

Irish News ANI Layoffs article.

I could've swore this was posted. Seems the HR minions were busy at the behest of our great leader and his absolute horror at any bad publicity. Anyway we've that big day out next week with the lad for D:Ream to cheer us all up after all our friends and collegues have lost their jobs. Unlike their song I doubt "Things can only get better" for ANI.

Dell Ireland

Does anybody know whats ahead for Dublin?
A lot have gone in the last week but are more cuts ahead in the short to medium term?
Have also heard they are trying to cut the package from 6 weeks to 2 weeks per year in the next round.
Is this legal or can anyone give any feedback from a legal standpoint?
