Hey folks. Today is a sad day for the employees who are leaving the greatest company in America. I wish you all the best, and I am sure it would be difficult to find another company as employee centric as ATT. Is it paid in a lump sum?

Have any of the folks laid off on September 3rd and covered by WARN 60 days notification period received anything today? I have been checking my email and haven't seen anything (although the final payroll payment showed on my bank account this morning).
In any case, I really appreciate all folks that have contributed to this forum. It was the first hit that showed up when I searched after being laid off, and it made me realize I wasn't alone in this new journey. I really wish the very best to all of you.

When are we going to receive our severance pay? They said it would be within two weeks of the exit date which was last Monday.

Anyone have knowledge on how long it’s taking for our severance to be paid out once we have signed the legal documents? I’m trying to figure out how to pay out my bills. I heard 3 months???

My severance pay got credited to my bank account yesterday. I haven't returned the laptop yet 😳 Anyone else get their pay?

Credited amount is ~25% less than severance amount mentioned in the separation agreement. I don't know the deductions, but I know payroll deductions & taxes would be deducted from it.

Last paper payslip I received is for the period ending on 9/5/25.

I returned my badge and all my equipment. Not sure what else the hold up would be.

Per policy I submitted my vacation hours prior to starting vacation and also to ensure I wouldn’t have a missing time card (and not get paid).
We couldn’t work from Sep 2 to Sep 22 due to loss of access. But they sure as heck still docked my vacation accrual for the days I pre-entered for post layoff days Arghh.
Kicking myself in the butt.

Some have asked when the final paycheck for those in the US on garden leave ending tomorrow (Monday) will be paid. My credit union website shows pending transactions with about 12 hours of anticipation, and it's currently showing two deposits tomorrow, 9/22, from O. One is the regular two week paycheck which would normally be paid on Thursday and the other is for the last day on Monday which would normally be part of the next pay cycle.

I was let go today after being with the bank 14 years. Curious if I was targeted to prevent a potential much bigger severance at 15 years.

Is there a way to change withholding to have less taxes taken out of severance?

Although I'm not surprised because I've watched things change for the worse. But I didn't see it coming because there are other job openings in my department. Same old sad story of a decent employee who thought they'd retire with the bank.

I plan on quitting in November but I have 3 weeks of earned vacation left. Should I use it all before I quit? Will Ford pay me for the unused portion? What is the best way to handle this?

Other than tax implications - what are the pros and cons to taking your severance one way over the other? I just want to be prepared when my ticket gets punched!

does anyone know when severance is paid? is it on your final paycheck or does it come after? if it comes after, how much longer after? how long until accelerated stock vesting takes effect? doesn't seem like any of this was answered in the faq

Where can I check?

It requires not disputing it but gives no way to verify what it is. Is there a way we can check or do should I just wait to sign till after I receive it?

Has anyone received the severance pay calculation or pay stub showing how the company determines the final amount? If you received it by mail, how long after the severance payment did you get it?

Can anyone confirm if they were paid out their PTO upon being fired/quitting. I am having an issue with that as well as being paid my commission. Ideally looking for feedback from someone not in California.
