I would like to know how soon to expect what we are owed.

I submitted the signed severance agreement on 4/25 and haven't gotten the lump sum payment as of 5/7. HR told me that payments can take up to 5 weeks from the date they receive your signed/completed agreement.
@1p8 No not yet. I was getting a little concerned too since I haven't received any response from my email to the severance department. I came here looking for info. Anyone know how long this should take to be processed? I sent my documents back the same day that they were received (4-24-26). I wish we had a way to track the status.

@zh b/c they weren’t going to take the time to make it for each individual. Probably was enough work to change all of the names imo. HR should have the total and can share it.. My HR person told me during the layoff meeting and I wrote it down and grabbed records of my PTO balance.
Why is there no dollar amount or the severance payout in the paperwork?
I was told by Severance team they are scheduled to be delivered by Friday 4/24 end of day if your last day was 4/17.

The team members who received a package, specifically the DM’s and field leaders, were given a blessing. The current environment is awful!!
I see a package from the HR company that they're using on my fedex app. It was labeled on Friday but still hasn't been picked up or scanned by FedEx. Who knows when they'll actually get around to shipping it out. I'm sure it'll be the normal you have until the end of the month and we'll get them right near the last day.
@e1 My last day was Friday the 10th, received on Friday the 17th - I did get an email letting me know it was coming.
I was told severance packets will be mailed out the week ending 4/24/26, which is this week. They are sent Fedex overnight. I honestly don't anticipate receiving it until next week. Once you sign and return ALL of the paperwork, there is a 7 day legal hold. Once the 7 day hold is over, your payment will be processed. I suspect that process will take a week or 2.

Good GIG some had on FREE money DOING( not much more than you actually did anyways I would say) nothing on a so called ADMIN LEAVE...wink wink wink and then getting a payout. Good riddance........overpaid do nothings. ANd don;t even respond and play defensive... MOVE ON
@OP severance packets are usually mailed out within a week of termination date. And then once paperwork is returned, there’s a legal hold for a couple of days.
