I was displaced on 10/28, got final paycheck / vacay payoff on 12/26 end of non-working. When does the first severance check deposit?

PTO pay out should have come around 12/26.
I got a workday notice that they skipped the 1/2 pay period because of the number of pay days in 2026. Your next check “should” arrive 1/16.
We don't like your attitude.. just for that we are retaining it for an extra week... You gon learn today ...

It’s a three week delay. It will come, just takes a week longer than you’d expect.
