I don’t believe they laid off that many people in corporate offices last week. There was no need for HR to send out that email in North America.

For those that have to go to hubs, I’m curious to know what exactly is on that email sent to remote folks today? Are you getting a reduction in salary? Is that even legal?

In an email manager recommended to take PTO, CEUs, equipment reimbursement, etc. early in the year (2026). More worries.

There's been a zombie reply-all thing going on the past 2 days with some all FE employees mailing list. Every few minutes it's "please remove me from this list". Would be amazing for HR to build a list of everyone who replied for instant layoff. Not sure how you can be so r-tarded and still hold a job.

Looks like I was on one email that was sent on behalf of Phil McKoy. Body of email says note 1 of 4 invites sent. Any reason to be concerned? Are layoffs or a reorg here?

Including dealer services and Ford Credit Customer service. Who got let go this week and /or last week?

The email subtly hints at more layoffs. It clearly states road ahead will be filled with confusion and what not. any thoughts? Or did everyone even get it?

The all hands on Monday were being nothing burgers. They did not say anything new. They sent an email with the changes then schedule an all hands over a week later to say the same thing? This is why VZ fails. Redundant and inefficient. Bet Friday’s call will be the same. It’s evident that things will not change. Dan the hatchet man is that, the hatchet man and will sadly pass it off to Scampath who will continue to tank the company. Leave while you can. VZ will not survive this 13k RIF. Culture, morale is dead there’s no coming back from losing trust in your people.

We were supposed to receive an an email later Thursday with details on how to access the severence website, how ro register, etc. Myself and three other co-workers did not receive it. Reached out to leadership and followed thier recomendations, but that failed too. Now I have ro deal with HR Answers.

because I just glanced quickly, but I think Stankey may have sent a Holiday email today where he actually didn’t berate his employees and encourage them to quit. Actually oops I deleted it.

E-mail came today to I assume everyone on the old pension. It seems like they are trying to get longtime employees (who would have large severance packages) to quit. It might work.

There will be many leadership “retiring” announcements over the next 48 hours. Many of those emails are shocking as people have no idea in their orgs. You shouldn’t be fooled as this is an attempt to make you believe that the leadership is suffering like the regular rank and file. Leadership’s numbers pale to what will happen on Thursday. They will all get at least a year of pay and a year of medical while real workers will only get a max of 35 weeks.
Which day will they tell us about the 5 days a week RTO? It is too sinister not to announce to drive the nail deeper in our hearts.

Have you looked at the 401K investment changes on the email from Monday? Seems like they are narrowing down our choices. And it’s odd that there is a Schwab IRA option. Aren’t they a competitor?!
